No guest players for Hawks 2023. Same roster in October as July. They just showed improvement. It does help that they have probably the best offensive player in the nation scoring or assisting on 90% of their goals.
Hawks will be better in 2018. Even though they won two very impressive tournaments they replaced 5-6 players and upgraded at several positions.
Hawks do not have the market cornered on Rednecks BTW, plenty to go around.

Do not sleep on API, much improved

This has to be flat brim, right? Sorry you are to much of an a hole and your son didn't even get an offer. Also sorry we embarrassed you and [lacrosse] down little Biff in Young Guns. It was only a game Brim.

So FB kid tried out for Hawks? Was he not given a spot due to ability of the Dad just being who he is?

API? Now that's funny. They lost several players this year so I am not sure what you are smoking.

We played them at Hogans Summer Exposure and they were definitely very good but they didn't win the tourney. What 2 Impressive tourneys did they win. Not trying to be confrontational at all just curious.

Not with the Hawks so have no idea why but it couldn't have been because of ability since the kid is very good. Not sure if it is because his dad is am [lacrosse]......but he is

You have to feel bad for the kid but Hawks made a decision based on having to deal with Flat Brim. The son would have helped the team no doubt but not worth the circus he brings. Credit to Hogan for saying no

Kid was already on Crabs roster when he went to Hawks tryouts.
Pretty sure Dad was just using as an opportunity to recruit new players for Crabs.
He's a special guy, that's for sure.

He must be special to you. You sure do talk about him enough. Can we get back to lacrosse? Yes, RR folded.

What teams still need players that some of the displaced RR boys could go to?

It might be tough to find a spot right now. Most clubs already have their rosters set.

Hawks eliminated their second 2023 team, so those kids might need some place to go also.
Unfortunately, they weren't told until the last day of tryouts and many had no back-up plan.

Too many clubs, not enough talent to go around.

Md team 89+2 2023 will lose every game in HoCo this year for the second consecutive year but I doubt they fold.

Look at the head coaches bio on the CSE website... that should tell you enough why the team folded. Would you pay 2k for that type of lacrosse experience? There are more knowledgeable coaches at Zingos and HoCo.

sometimes your best coaches weren't D-1 studs, but rather people who weren't athletically gifted and worked harder then most to compete

RR 2024 also had a hard time filling their roster. I think once your kid reaches 7th and 6th grade parents figure out who is coaching for the right reason and who is coaching strictly for their son.

Yes, because if you look at the threads dedicated to older kids, you never see complaints of daddy ball.

Not all dad coaches are in it for their kid alone.

Agreed. Dad coaches are critical IMO at the younger ages.

Also agree. Many good/viable programs would not exist if it were not for the participation of father's whose son or daughter is on his/her team.

Agreed, but big difference between Daddy Ball and a Dad who coaches.
It's a rare Dad who can just be a coach of their own kid.
Shouldn't happen beyond 6th/7th Grade. Best for everyone.
