Which I am sure is completely fine for many parents. Big expense on top of a VERY steep "tuition." Why would a team of sixth graders be vying to compete in a tournament that is age-based for what are largely 7th graders . . .??

They will all be able to all play in the WSYL in 2019. Express 2022 did the same thing going into 6th grade by upgrading all positions and they havent looked back.

That comes in later grades. And at least on my son's team, the few we have are not the best on the team.

As long as the kids are developing and having fun, who cares? Other than the dad who is living through his 11 year old son, who will hate the sport soon enough.
