Sunday scrimmage. August 6th. Isn't there a break. More to life than this, I think.

That's ridiculous! The boys need time off and families need down time. Hate to say it people but there's more to life than lacrosse. Burnout is on its way.

The "Koopers 2021 ringers" are on age 2022 players that have played for Dukes since last spring. Not sure what you are implying.

That is the team that is for the the bottom half of the AA roster that returned and selected kids at tryouts. There was over 100 kids there last night to pick from. That team has a chance to be like Igloo's 2nd team.

They should all be at the beach. Sticks down. Enough is enough. Well considering the clubs are having tryouts already, what is the issue in playing a scrimmage as well?

Dukes is not a team, it is a program. There are more kids on the roster than those that play in games and tournaments. The "tryouts' occur every month from August to May. Kids are free to come to the monthly tryout and be added to the team if they are good enough. It's not realistic for all the kids to make it each month. This doesn't mean you aren't on the team anymore. Many of the kids from last years roster have already been invited back, not just the koopers kids.

Select=B Gold=nonexistent, or if they do exist D team Yes the coaching is the same, someone's dad and PB shows up to scream at the kids as they get smoked. If you are looking for the worst set of parents and a solid B team with mediocre coaching, then you are in the right spot

Express A 2 daddy coaches Igloo A 2 daddy coaches Igloo B 1 daddy coach 91 2 daddy coaches Outlaws 1 daddy coach Lagacy 1 daddy coach 91 B 1 daddy coach People anywhere you go on long Island there are daddy coaches get over it Dad's coaching as an assistant is fine. And very needed. So your tally data is skewed, The issue is sometimes when the Head Coach is the daddy coach. Then that could be a potential red flag. Obviously, there are cases like the Bandits and Badgers where you gladly accept those dads. But this is club lax, where we are all spending a ton of money and time. Every team should have a Head Coach that has no ties to the team. However, sometimes those coaches do just the minimum. Whereas a daddy Head Coach will invest the time to practice, so this whole thing is maddening and every team and club is different. So practice and commitment is key, along with keeping an eye that dad doesn't favor his son. Head Coach (and most are club directors) Express A and B - nope (director for A) Igloo A and B - nope (director for A) 9! A and B - nope (director for A) Outlaws A (director) Legeeacy A and B - nope (director for A) Not a bad coaching line up

My son only played in 2 tournaments this summer also with them. There were only 3 that Dukes played in. There aren't any minicamps after April. Buy the helmets? What are you talking about? No one buys their own helmet.

Getting moved down the depth chart and getting moved below the travel line are two different things. Obviously showing up at a tryout helps, but they aren't going to move their best kids below the travel line. That would be silly.
