With the new rules coming in and recruiting season about to begin. What Is the consensus on the impact to the volume of coaches out on the trail this summer. look on the IWLCA website at the college coaches attending for example the New England Cup next weekend - Not so many D1...

Kylie is a heck of an athlete. Should not hold it against her that she is "just plays attack". You can put her on midfield and she'd still be a beast on both sides of the field. Heck, put her on defense and she'd still be an All American. Also, we always have to read about SB's weak schedule. Yes, they have a few softer teams but they're against teams in their Conference. They played Florida, USC, NW, Hopkins, Towson, Jacksonville.....and Maryland. Only a handful of teams at the most can make an argument that their schedule is tougher. And we all agree they're aren't too many teams in the country that can ever sniff at the winning the title......SB is one of them and will certainty be in the mix next year. She should have won the award. Other girls are great.....but none had a better individual performance than Kylie. Not trying to make any SB/YJ hater into a lover. Go ahead and keep hating. But to think anybody other than Kylie should have won last night, is just a hater and will keep coming up with formulas and or slanders against a girl they pretend to know in order to make their case. She should have won it but we'll all get over it. Years from now fans will remember her not winning it rather than the girl that won it. Next year will be fun. My kid played for the YJ and I am a SB supporter. If you think Kylie would be a greta midfielder you are just completely delusional! She is a great player. Feeder/scorer. If she would be that good why doesn't JS use her in other areas?

She has a killer instinct but the skillset required for Middies is 1000x more
Just the running alone would disqualify most of the best attack players out there
She is a great player but she also plays a position where coaches hide players

The best offensive players in the game and in the games history play that position .I would say some of them could have been great middies but you never want to take them off the field so they play attack.

Stick with the argument that she is the most dominant scorer and feeder (which she is). If not , there is no argument!

With rosters of 30 or more there are still tons of girls that need to be hidden

You can tell how bad KO was robbed by the over the top reactions and all of the people of MD nation trying to defend the choice for the T Award. Not just the fans but all the players and former players and former MD T Award winners feel the need to take to social media trying to justify it........pretty much says it all. Never, ever in the history of the Award have we ever seen anything like this.

Maybe is will heat up in the fall for the 2020's but it looks like for now the coaches are staying at their own camps.

I guess Maryland was hiding Megan Whittle on attack the past two years,

This isn't something unusual. Not many attackers have won this award, especially ones that lost in the quarter finals.

Tough to live in the East on $40k or more all the more reason delaying early verbals was a good thing because after the top 5 schools coaches are changing every year and when you committed as an 8th grader lots of times the coach you make the deal with isnt there 5 years later

More top teams and more T winners would be good in growing the sport I don't think the power structure of w lacrosse is too concerned about growing the game. I think they are perfectly happy playing in front of 75 fans with virtually no televised games . Versus about a dozen a few years ago. Otherwise they would make some changes..

Wish I could see all these silly posts from US Lacrosse about the womans team stop. The team is a joke. When you have to open US Lacrosse magazine and see Kelly Rabil, who hasn't done crap in years, while players like KO are cut, makes the whole thing a farce. Barf!

New rules, 1- Only the 6 mid-fielders allowed between the restraining lines during draw 2- if shot is taken before, or at whistle, goal or save counts 3- (most important in IMHO) free movement on minor fouls, all players allowed to move but ball must be still with 2 meter bubble, if more than 3 fouls occurs in transition, before ball crosses offensive restraining line, 1st offense warning, second offense 1 minuet penalty ( the Joe Spallina rule ) 4- after 4th yellow 2 minuet unreleasable (Joe Spallina rule 2.0)
