After taking such a shellacking and embarrassing the family, my guess would be out of pity.

So really what you're saying is you were afraid of getting smacked around by a lax mom. Thanks, pretty sure I know the type of guy you are.

If they brought the entire nassau team down not a hybrid team would have been much different.

Maybe FCA glad they lost. Avoid a smackdown on TV and all the accompanying player shenanigans...

FL$ is way over-rated. Give it a rest already dude. And, by the way, there are holdbacks on FL$ too.

Not true, but clearly 89+2 was intent on making a point.....and did.

Coaches should worry less about winning and more about instilling character. This has been going on for years with this FCA team and they are indeed older so one would hope more mature. . And not every team has bad apples as they have parents and coaches who will not stand for that kind of behavior and there are real consequences but they won't sit their starters and the players know it. Why do you stand for it and stay if you feel like your child is being painted with the same brush or if coaches are not addressing?

FL$ may not win the tournaments but results in getting boys recruited speak for themselves. My son played with them starting in summer of 9th grade. Every single player was recruited and will be playing in college next spring. Philosophy is great - HS team comes first, and equal playing time. It's about exposure, and that is what you get.

I guess if you boil it down, all teams are over-rated except for 91 orange. But does it really matter???

Don't have a holdback but now that kids are heading into 10th grade & bragging about playing varsity, can we stop complaining about hold backs??? Good kids can play against anyone. Move the ball & you won't get cheap shots by an immature holdback. Can't have it both ways.

You are correct, he is what you called him but his father is a real head case. I am surprised UNC even approached this player with a verbal, his parents are at every game, (Crabs and FCA) and the way they act had to be clear to UNC personnel. He is not that good of a player to overlook the way the parents act to want him for their program. He takes after his father, who is a real meat head. As for FCA Md. head coach doing anything, that will never happen. This coach is also the head coach of Calvert Hall HS and to everyone's surprise, won coach of the year, based on Calvert Hall winning the MIAA championship. This had to be because of the asst. coaches as Bryon Kelly is not that good of a coach, either FCA or CH and doesn't have a high lax IQ. He doesn't discipline his players when they act out like #44, he is a BS artist and sells it to players and parents. The FCA is nothing but a front, that team is so far from Christian it doesn't come close. Kelly will try to get you to believe it is faith driven but it's not even close. Letting a player like #44 act like that (and it is not the first time for #44) and not take control is a clear vision of what he stands for. Right Curtis!!

Crush is good but if you watched the game, the LIE defense did not play very well at all. Maybe just a rough day but they seemed way off. I think other teams would have given Crush a better game. Props to LIE for getting to the game though.

Good luck to him punching the clock when he gets out of whatever podunk school is the first you a dollar or with his coaching career when he finishes (if) up at lax u.

My son is a 2020 and last summer it was totally crazy how many coaches were on the sidelines, this summer a few here and there. Any my son is on a team that is playing at all the top events. Has there been any coaches on the 2021 sidelines? I am super happy about the fact that is does look like the coaches are following the new rules. I have to also say, I have noticed plenty of 2029 "commits" having less than stellar summers. Looks like the pressure may be getting to some of them, IMO air looks like they are trying to do too much. Also, some of the "commits" that are older have now lost their edge and are really struggling. Just my observation, anyone else have input?

Great? you think what Curtis does is great. That meat head does nothing great but make a total as* of himself. Even some of the other parents can't stand him. Now he has #44 acting the same way. UNC might just reconsider their verbal, since it is not binding and just say see you later #44, and take your father with you. We don't need or want either of you at UNC. Just may happen.

Was at a very prominent showcase earlier this summer with my 2020. Game before was 2018/2019 teams with 20+ coaches watching. When that was over and the 2020/2021 game was starting I'd say all but 2-3 coaches picked up their chairs and went elsewhere. Not scientific, but happened for each subsequent game that day. They were marginally interested in 2020s, not interested at all in 2021s and very clearly focused on 2018-2019s. I think a lot of parents realize this which is why there is less demand for prospect days and showcases for the younger kids. A showcase for freshman that a year ago sold out in 2 weeks is now only 40% full weeks after registration was opened. Coaches have changed their behavior and the market is reacting.

I completely agree. We had the exact same experience observing college coach attendance for 2020 (perhaps were at the same tournament) and have personally been very conservative this year about signing up for prospect days. Waiting to focus on next year.

I have to also say, I have noticed plenty of 2029 "commits" having less than stellar summers. Looks like the pressure may be getting to some of them, IMO air looks like they are trying to do too much. Also, some of the "commits" that are older have now lost their edge and are really struggling. Just my observation, anyone else have input?

orange is not a very good team, very high turnover and not a committed bunch. Been on the team, I know.

Give it up, too many teams could beat each other on any given day. No way to have an actual ranking, and did Looneys even ever play Crush?

Express was blown out by 91, also recently lost to Crabs and Stars. They got lucky against FCA, wouldn't happen again. They are a 10-20 team, closer to 10. Need to have more quality wins. Crabs can't beat Crush but are the in the top tier, nobody else comes close. Would like to see Crush play Looneys again, don't think they would win again, but they did win so until they meet again they are on top. Hawks deserve a place in top 10, maybe bump down Stars.

Looney's, FCA & Crabs should post the birthdates of their kids - until then - I can't take them seriously. I don't care how good they are - they should be good - their rosters are full of older kids.
