Big weekend at Youngs guns. Will crabs reclass all of the 21 kids to the 22 team? Not all. Come on now...They have a few that are actually 2020 and cant reclass again! 2022 Crabs totally different team at Young Guns. Totally different players. Many guest players.

Hawks can't go because HOLDBACKS Wsyl - weak competition & expensive. Millon 2022 championship tournament is legit. Don't think for one second that your team would not be going if you thought you had a chance of winning it with on age players. There is not better advertising for a Club than to be on TV and winning the championship. After 91 won it the amount of kids that tried out for their teams the next year almost doubled. I bet the same for Legggaaaccceee. The fact that the Hawks have 3 players that could not make the 5/1/03 is crazy. It is crazy to me that a contact sport is not regulated and kids of any age can participate in a tournament. Unfortunately it's going toe take a kid getting seriously hurt and they sue the Clubs involved and US Lacrosse before anything changes. Only 1 Hawk doesn't make the 5/1 cutoff. How great is the advertising when you lose by double digits? I thought they changed the cutoff to Sept 1 this year??? May 1 was last year cutoff to let in all the holdbacks.. The cutoff was 5/1 until WSYL changed it in December 2016 to 9/1 after the teams were fixed in August 2016. What true team tears them selves apart just for one tournament?

Hawks let's play another game age base and see who would win ... you won't do it because API would win . Hawks can't win without their HOLDBACKS . Everyone knows it Your Envy ,jealousy and bitterness is comical. Don't be mad because your team is still playing 3rd grade lacrosse. Good luck next year finding a team for your kid. API better win WSYL so they can at least field a 2022 team next year. Your [lacrosse] talking on an anonymous site is exactly why your team is in the shape its in. I guess coaching football, basketball, lacrosse, soccer and what ever else is over for the DADDY sidelines. Both sidelines! There is however the helicopter in your favor. Try trying out for a team that Daddies control. Every sport your kid plays.

It should be a combo a cutoff date and grade being rising eigth.Igloo has 6 players from its 2021 Black Ice who are rising 9th.Talk about taking advantage of the rules. Is that due to MD schools starting Sept 1 and NY schools starting Dec 1 ?? or is it Jan1 ?? 9/1 is just an arbitrary date that WSYL picked out of the air. Initially they were following the little league baseball world series which is 5/1, but then they changed it. Soccer uses 1/1 as the date.

Crabs 2021 has more than a few 2020's on their 2021 team. I know who most of them are. Ryan McClernan just continues his bullsh^t ways. The most disgusting individual in club lacrosse, followed closely by Kelly, head coach of FCA 2020 and CH. Another disgusting individual.

Ok you a hole who posted this response. The crabs are a cheating bunch of s-heads. I feel bad for the kids and families that sit there at the games and say wow look how good we are and then you have players from Koopers 2012 and team 91 play for you as guest players. What the F are guest players? If you are team and a real program you play with what you have . Like I said in the original post they have cheated. I am only sure abut one thing and that is the Hawks will still beat the snot out of crabs. Also really you have canada edge vs RR in the one quarter and mad lax masa in the other? Please some explain how that happened? Edge and RR would blow either one of those teams off the field.

Igloo upset they lost last year after the rule change. They broke up what seemed to be a good group of kids. If you cannot beat them join them. Can't have it both ways boys. Igloo is playing by the rules as did L#$%@% last year. Again this an age based event. When the argument of age comes up at Millon this year specifically with the Hawks team you will defend them having 15 year olds playing against 13 year olds because the rules say graduating year .Enjoy the game on TV Age based, not with the intention of rising high school boys to be brought down to play. Says you...and only you

That one little word makes all the difference.

Serious question, the Kooper's kids you say are guest playing for Crabs this weekend, are they 2021's playing down on Crabs 2022? Or are they playing for Crabs 2021?

Both boys have been playing up for years now. They are 7th grade students. The Koopers 2021 team, which originated some years ago with a core group that played at MLC were combined with kids from the now defunct Fearless club to form a 2021 team. By my count, I believe that 5-6 Koopers 2021 kids are enrolled in the 7th grade with the remainder 8th graders. It is an interesting team and well coached. They are 2022's and as "guests" were playing at an age/grade appropriate level. They are prodigies -- that can play against ever greater/older competition and very effectively. It was fun watching them compete at Young Guns this weekend.

Edge was very tough ,Philly teams all came to play,RR's took it to everyone this weekend and had the Hawks on the ropes till the last seconds. Crabs brought the horses to win it but the Hawks prevail over the field. Fun to watch .

It was fun watching them compete at Young Guns this weekend. That's great if they've been playing up with 2021's for several years. After watching that Crabs/Edge game, that may have been grade appropriate but it was certainly not age appropriate. The majority of those kids were obviously 14 if not older. It was like watching a JV game. Great lacrosse, but please don't act like those kids were age appropriate. The same is true for that Edge team and the Hawks. Older kids playing rising 8th grade lax. That's the truth. And yes, I understand it's a grade based tournament.

They see Baltimore getting an advantage with holdbacks and do the same thing. Prior posters have shown that they play down players because they will be held back in years to come or will be doing a PG year in years to come. So with that logic..play them down now. Crazy but true! The state of Holdback Club Youth Lacrosse.

That is not a problem and I think all the kids can take that and give it at this level. My son is a "hold back" so no grip on that but when you he guest players that is some BS. Have a roster and stick to it. You have try outs in August so from that time until a certain date(jan 1st) ypu can do whatever you want but to add not 1 but at least 4 kids I know of to a crabs team for a tournament is BS. Isn't an ex raven son oon that team? I would think someone like that can say in youth sports that is cheating to add players for a tournament. You had a team that played in a league that is the teteam we should see.M
