I guess FL$ controls the weather, with the amount they charge they should be able to.

He may think he is at this point, but if he doesn't pick the pace up, he won't be. Oh, that's right, Hopkins sucks right now, so never mind.

Serious question. Why would any team do the MVP tournament when Crabfeast is right down the road? What is the reasoning? Do teams just wan to win games?

Manhasset/CSH/GC daddies probably told Doogie Hauser to call it off.

RM excludes some from Crabfeast...because it's all about the boys and growing the sport.

Spare us the argument of how its good for us, because it isn't while the kids are maturing. By the time they become jr.s your little/big johnny's advantage will be diminished. Just crawl back in your hole and keep your head down and hope you don't get called out and keep patting yourself on your back and saying "thanks" when everyone tells you how good your son looks because it is fleeting and ephemeral and you know it and the sad thing is, he probably knows it to and will require therapy at some point in his life for the false sense of confidence you enabled--great work.

In my area, it is very common for public school kids to repeat if they transfer into private, even if they don't play a sport. Public school education is basically third world. I get your argument as it pertains to grade-based youth sports, but the smart ones just continue to play up, and then in HS you just play your grade. You worry about yourself, not what some public school parents think about your educational path. Because private school kids have no track record of success in college ball, right? College ball is all public school kids. Yup, you got us there, dude, I got nothing..

Maybe where you are from the public schools are lacking but we have reviewed the objective real life data in our area and public are generally superior in the academic course offerings at higher levels because private schools can not scale to that level, SAT scores are comparable and in many cases higher, college admittance and retention is comparable (not just admittance as little Johnny has to work and fit in once accepted) for the top 1/3 of most public schools (outside of inner cities). Not to mention that they are not filled with individuals such as yourself making sweeping statements with no basis. If your kid can not be in the top 2/3 academically in a public school than the private school small class size and hand holding are the best thing for them. There are a myriad of other intangibles that make one a better choice over the other but academics is not necessarily one of them. Please do some research.

So you are just a world class cheapskate.

Are you seriously saying someone who chooses to send their kids to public schools on LI is a "cheapskate"??!

Says the guy who said the other kid must need his hand held.

I am not even party to that dumb discussion - I am just questioning that rediculous comment.

UCLA just offered a 2021 QB prospect, regardless how you feel about early recruiting , just another indication the game of lacrosse in totality highly influenced by jelaous and paranoid parents who get crazy when they feel their little baby is getting left out. Also another reason why it will take lacrosse many, many years to make it into the main stream.

If football was like the crazy sport of lacrosse there would be 2,000 8th graders "committed" one 8th grader maybe realistic but that is not what happened with lacrosse. So happy that the lacrosse coaches got their acts together and have fixed the problem

Crabs go down to the Hawks in OT at Crabfeast!

Not sure who is worse, Lavar Ball or the faceoff kids father who plays for the 2020 Crabs. Dad can't stop bragging about how good his kid is but I watched his son lose to the Team (**) kid and get taken out of the game, then watched him get tuned up by the Fogo who plays for the Looney's and then watched him get tuned up by multiple other kids last week and this week. The father still insists his son beat everyone and is better than any 2019 and 2020 in the country.

I've personally never seen anything like it.

FCA will win Crabfeast by a large margin (IMO).

FCA beat Looney's 10-8.

Looney's Fogo and Goalie didn't play and that was the difference in the game.

I was at that game, my son plays for the Hawks but that is a fact, Looney's did not have their FOGO or their starting goalie and that had a big difference in the game. With those two players present the outcome could have been different. It was a good game, both teams played well and both are strong 2020's and are very well coached. As one poster above predicted FCA would win by a wide margin, 10-8 is not a wide margin. When these 2020's play each other the margin of victory is very small/narrow.

Crabby parents were losing their minds when they were down 5-0 to Freedom! They got some good old home cooking from the refs in the second half to win in the last second 7-6

Look older than who? They are not nearly as old as Crab, Looneys or FCA. To be honest, they actually looked a little undersized to me. They can play though

laxachusetts was much smaller in size than FCA. In fact, the announcers commented on that fact during the live stream. What they failed to comment on was that the reason for much of the size difference could be attributed to the Baltimore private school holdback mentality. Congrats to Laxachusetts for playing a super competitive game.

Crabs parents somewhat embarrassing when down to a Freedom team that showed up to play.

Bottom line is the top 2020 teams are all playing one and two goal games... talent is spread throughout and any team wins on any given day. While one or two kids make a difference this is a team sport and teams should win and lose as one unit.

No longer are Crabs and FCA and Looneys the only teams that can win!

Fat Crab promotes the double holdback and should be ashamed of himself. He is an embarrassment to the sport and now his team should be embarrassed for their attempts to cheat leading to failure. Karma at it's best. The Crabs are at best true to there mascot.....bottom feeders.

Promotes?! Very Fake News. You might as well discriminate all private schools in MD to fit your agenda. Other teams win? Of course, what the [lacrosse] were they waiting on, teams invited to the events certainly should win games, which reflects greatly on our sport and competition at this level. 1 point, 2 point,
OT playoff games every week, parents and fans getting great lacrosse. At the end of the day we are all in the same community, no need for the personal bs on here. See you at NLF, Happy 4th.

I saw that too. Was sitting behind the FCA coaches. They bragged that it was a good check because they didn't get called. Also saw them try to teach their fogo how to cheat after he had a meltdown after getting smoked over and over.

Then couldn't let it go and did it again while running off field with the other kid, although I think they both got penalized. Class all the way with that group.

Rotten from the top down. FCA now took the holdback/d-bag crown from Crabs and Looneys...Way to be there BK!

Agree with all on most recent list with exception of Freedom- they were assigned to a very weak bracket for Crabfeast, with little decent competition. Not sure I think Prime Time deserves to be on first list either but still some great tournaments to go this summer to see how these 10-12 teams shake out.
The gap is definitely closing a bit - lots of close games.

Crush still wins 7 out of 10 against everyone else. Need another loss or two before anyone else can claim parity, won't happen this summer.

Madlax/Express/Primetime

Agreed on the Crush comment, Looney's/FCA traded games, although Looney's had starters out, Hawks now in conversation, but wouldn't beat Crabs again (nice OT win, though), Crabs one goal game with Looney's and beat Laxch the week before. Would like to see FCA/Crabs, but I guess we may not at this point, until maybe Fall.
