How do you all think Sat will turn out for the LI teams against others? Look like some good match ups. Which tournament? The Andy Forsberg Memorial .

Millon does a National Championship for 2022s and Elite 8 which is basically the Nat Championship for 2024s - why nothing for 2023s? Those are not really National Championships. They are Invitationals for some of the top teams. LI. Md and PA. Very regional. There are a ton of really competitive tourneys this year for 2023's (2 NLF's, NXT, Naptown, Young Guns, etc... ) All of these will have many of the top teams in attendance. Oh, and no one really cares. As crazy as 2023 parents are, we're way lower on the crazy scale than the 2025, 2024 and 2022 parents. This age group has more talented teams than the rest. We're much happier watching our kids grow and get better without worrying about all of the BS that the others do. Good tourneys, good scrimmages, and increasing skill level is all we need. And, if we're being completely honest, the Bandits would win it 99 times out of 100 so what's the point?

were you at the game 4pm game, or did someone tell you about it.. what happened? Yes I was at the game, Express parents yelling and cursing at opposing player for very hard hit (hit resulted in penalty), nonstop yelling at refs, game stopped to warn Express parents to cut it out, then finally one parent was told to leave or game can not be continued. After that remaining parents got the hint. Who did Express play in that game? Recon . They beat them pretty bad. My son had the game after so I caught most of the game. The yelling was on both sides as noted by someone else but was really escalating over on the express parents end . The ref stopped play made someone leave then the two refs switched sides of the field.. On a positive note I watched all the coaches from both teams go over to the boy that got it hit and the kid that laid the hit went to him and spoke with him. It didn't look like any retaliation on the field.

My son was also in the next game, all the yelling started from the Express dads, it escalated with the big hit, the other teams parents only responded when the Express dad started yelling and cursing about the player who made the big hit.

The "NLF Under Armour Main Event" is for older kids, 2022-2018. It's a showcase. "NLF Super Series 2017" is for youth teams 2025-2022.

I think its the first year for NJ Riot North, which is just a Bergen County offshoot of the original Riot team. Bergen County has seen an explosion of travel teams - I think the talent is spread too thin. NJ Riot has been around longer and is more or less a Morris County area team. It should be the better of the two but who knows. I don't think NJ Riot won much last summer at this level, although I think some of their teams are good.
Keep in mind though that grade on grade the NJ teams will be a bit older owing to a different school calendar year. For instance, a true 2023 team from NY should have nearly its whole roster born in 2005. The NJ teams will be more akin to half old 2005/young 2004.

Why are you tracking a 2023 division so hard when your son is obviously not in the tournament. If he was you would know where it is on TM. Will you be the same troll bashing teams based on scores you read on the App??!!

Nothing new there. Same team that was heaR a few weeks ago. But, they're still beatable. Sure they are but you don't think the Crabs and Laxa ended up playing each other in the semis for no reason. Bandits and Express in the other one. Championship games in this heat and this age is rough. Then add in how tough the game before was on your middies. Either way welcome to Long Island lacrosse. Don't give me the 1-4 and 2-3 tournament rules when you control who plays who in pool play. Better have your game on when showing up and run the numbers to get 1 seed. No mercy on the weak teams.

Yeah I'm really not sure what 2023 means to Boston and Baltimore but it clearly isn't 11/12 year olds. I understand that teams may have 2-3 kids that hit puberty early but when 75% of the team is 5 foot eight and up it kinda makes u scratch your head
