glad to see Igloo back in the B tournaments where they belong Trying to beat town teams Sorry your kid didn't make Igloo - better luck next time.... And Taz is at the For the Love of the Green tournament playing in a bracket with powerhouses like Eff-Ell-Gee, Taz's B team and town teams. Get over it toolbox. Lots of reasons why club directors sign the teams up for certain tournaments. No NLF and no 'Fest for any Leg a sea teams, it's not making the smart parents happy when they are paying for their boys to face such poor competition. But the shirt chasers love it.

9d1 wants to hide from taz lost last 6 out of 7. Just ask 9d1 directors. Avoiding geese as well. They will only play teams they can beat as and organization. Son they will have no one to play. Only top teams are JS teams. Others passed up by leg or igloo at every age.

Went 1-1. different organizations commit to different tourneys for different reasons.

Every good team on the east coast is on LI for the next two weeks and you are in some fantasy land. Taz parents should demand that they get these kids into the right Tournaments. Playing up in a beginners Tournament will not do these boys ANY good, no good can come of this isolation.

Agreed. I think most don't realize that NLF events are invite only with a ton of politics. The Elite Eight Tourney in Maryland makes this weekends NLF event look like a JV tournament. As a Brotherly Love Parent we have beaten handily most of the teams coming to this NLF event; however, we weren't invited. My theory is that the local Philly based Teams Mesa and Triple H, who are members of NLF, don't want us at this event as they are both ducking us. Why do you ask? Simply because they don't want to be soundly beaten and then they can't self anoint themselves the best club in Philly. We finished 5th at Elite Eight and and I believe that is where Brotherly Love belongs right in the middle of the pack of the top eight. As a club that doesn't start practicing for the Summer Tournament Season until end of May, that isn't bad. On that list WP, Express, and Laxachusetts are the only AA teams. There is nothing "Super" about the Super Series

And before that they lost the championship at Blatant. Gonna be a long summer kiddos. Stop the tit for tat. You won't be able to keep up with the changes. WP and Taz probably won't meet for a few weeks. How many from each time is on the warrior 2024 together? That should be the real powerhouse!

Totally agree. Nlf does not want competition. They want to only play teams they can beat and not allow better teams in region that have founding members. Unfortunately, it is beginning to backfire as other non-nlf clubs are beginning to dominate the club scene especially at younger ages. College coaches cannot stand the alliance and have made that known to anyone that is in the inner circle.

"when you were in 5th grade, did you play for an NLF Team?" Cut it out.

Sounds like you're guaranteeing taz the championship this weekend, better hope they come thru otherwise it would be an embarrassment for their team and make you out be more of a fool than you already sound like.

Moron, that tournament is weak, if they win, they lose because the opposition is not good, if they lose, then all [lacrosse] breaks out. I'm not predicting anything, I'm just saying that organization is getting isolated and that's bad for the kids.

Nothing wrong with more tournaments . There is more to 2024 lax then the top teams. B teams need a place to develop and get better . Calling a tournament "garbage" because it's filled with B teams is idiotic.

Goal hanger at best All of this stuff written about this CT kid is by the Taz parents themselves. A lot of upset people on that team about how it was handled. No show practice, takes a spot of a kid whose been with the team since the start. Put yourself in that position and you would be upset also. Before pointing to other teams parents that are writing about this player look internally because that's where it is all coming from. Within the team it is an elephant in the room.

I am a Taz parent and I will tell you that our parents could not be happier. The boys are great, coaching is great and we still believe we are one of if not the best team in the nation. You all have nothing better to do then create drama to TRY to bring us down. It's your only option because you lost to us 6 OUT OF THE LAST SEVEN TIMES. Get over it, it's 5 th grade lacrosse. You are ruining a great friendly rivalry.

Nothing is wrong with more tournaments, but the discussion is what is Taz doing in a B event for weaker teams (that no one called garbage that I can see). Even playing up, there is a real problem if our kids get isolated.

I spoke to a couple of your parents after this weekends events. They both said they were very unhappy with the way things were handled this weekend. It was a win at all costs attitude, fielding part-time players, which was bad enough when you are talking about 10/11 year olds that traveled 5 hours. The problem got worse though, when they didn't win. In the end the coaches caused an unnecessary rift which will be very apparent when tryouts roll around. Can you blame them? It was a slap in the face that will be hard if not impossible to recover from. That is a fact. Deny it all you want. It is out there and these parents are not even keeping it a secret.
