So funny when an Outlaw parents groups themselves in the top four of a 5 team bracket and the 5th team is the B team in an organization. Only game outlaws will win is against igloo B

Didn't that Outlaws team lose to a town team at the Mayflower tournament in the fall?

The Igloo B team took down Express too. Maybe just maybe that are all just B teams ????

You joke about it, but kudos to them that they can produce 2 very good teams at the age group. You don't need your kid on an A team, you just need good coaching and dedication.

Congratulations to Igloo Aspen Extreme. The boys train and play hard and have developed nicely. Definitely deserve their success. Not just today, but competitiive play for more than a year now. Well done!

That's what happens when you play everyone. 2nd igloo team always plays in the top bracket. Only gets you better. They beat outlaws in braveheart, beat express, probably would have beat leg a C and express again too if best player didn't get hurt. And for all those bashing these teams for losing, think about it. Outlaws, leg a C, express and both igloo teams always play everybody. No hiding. You rip outlaws, why? They lost to the 2 teams in championship-beat leg a C, lost to an igloo A team in the last minute of a game they totally outplayed igloo. Rip leg a C, why? They played everybody tough today.
All this while 91 sits home and hides. That's when we should be asking why?

Completely agree - no one team blew any teams out of the water today - great competition - this age group is phenomenal.

The igloo organization should be applaud today and I'm an Express parent!! Orange and black could have had what Igloo is doing but we have two teams with 35 and 28, a B team where some kids can barely pass or throw! Pathetic at this age! Maybe all the clubs need to look at producing competitive teams, the money will be there, the talent is certainly there! Maybe pass on a few private lessons or be honest and tell mom dad, Johnny not built for this team or this level of lacrosse! I'm not sure how Igloo figured it out, good for them and those boys!!!

Yes 91 they had it and could have twiked the teams a bit but no... Horrible business move. Terrific talent at 2022, alot to go around and remain competitive.

It seems like T9-1 is having problems at all locations. The MD teams didn't make a peep in their league playoffs this weekend either.

What clubs should do at tryouts is pick the top team and then have another tryyout for the 2nd team. Because 2nd teams when orginally picked are good. But too many just tryout for the top team. Then those kids that make the 2nd team say no. Makes building a 2nd team hard.

This past weekend should benefit both Igloo squads. "A" team learned that no team in the top 5-6 here on LI is handing them a win just because of what they have done in the past. "B" team hopefully gained some confidence that they can play with everyone and learned the effort needed to do so. A few of their boys were really spent by the end of the day.

I agree somewhat but Igloo built this 2nd team out of parents and kids that liked the coach and sincerely wanted to play there. Igloo's tryouts were some of the last so even if kids didn't make the A teams of other clubs they accepted invites anywhere they could rather than take a chance of not making an Igloo team and being stuck without a team. Igloo should really benefit from earlier tryout dates this year.

Lol...who is it that hates the Outlaws organization so bad? I'm not an Outlaw parent but saw them play this weekend. The team is good and played everyone tough....what else do you want from them?

The person/people that bash outlaws are known to everyone in the organization. They go to the team because their kids sat the bench on some of the "big" teams and think outlaws is their "backup". They think they will go there and their kid will be the savior and play every minute. When they see there is actually talented kids on the team and their kid still isn't playing every minute, the sideline and BOTC b*t*hing starts. They end up leaving and have to make excuses why their kid still didn't play EVERY minute on the "backup" team. They don't accept being part of a team. They went to outlaws to BE the team and it didn't work...ego crushed.

For them to lose and implode. That is what being a full blown hater is about. Lol.

Reality check is that we have good competition throughout the island and that is healthy for the sport.

It's definitely and Outlaw parent. The dysfunction on that team starts at the top and seeps its way to the sidelines! Yesterday was only the beginning and already there is dissension in the ranks! I think the Outlaws are set to implode!

Outlaws are going to implode after some pretty good games yesterday. Lost to igloo B in braveheart, seemed like the end of the world until igloo B goes out and beats express next. Then outlaws take igloo A to the last minute of the game. Implosion imminent. Express last week was ready to implode after only about a 1/4 of their 35 man roster see the field. Parents going crazy about it. Implosion imminent. Leg a C gets beat by igloo A yesterday and dismantled by outlaws. Implosion imminent. But wait didn't they just beat express a week or so ago? 91 can't field a team for any of these tournaments. Ducking and hiding after the winter of mass exodus. Implosion imminent. Igloo A getting upstaged by igloo B. Getting handled by express easy. Barely beating outlaws in last minute. Parents must be up in arms. Implosion imminent.
But guess what. The kids are having a great time.the coaches are loving the great competition. Wins and losses happen. Compete hard and enjoy the ride. Parents please stop going insane over every game. It's just a game. None of these teams are imploding. It's great to have express, igloo, outlaws, leg a C, 91 all competitive. And igloo B, welcome to the party. You proved yesterday you belong.

Bottom line is any team can have a bad game/ day happens in every sport, u forgot to mention leg a c lost to outlaws and Igloo A but ended up by beating igloo B so easy with welcome to the party crap . and just a few weeks ago 91 beat express at ws qualifier . Igloo B went 0 and 3 . Lets just wait till end of summer then u can talk all u want , hope we all at least can all agree there is a ton of talent at this age and on any given day anyone of these teams can beat oneanother .And please save the missing /hurt players excuse all teams had similar situations
