Unless you have a daughter or relative or a friends daughter playing, the game is unwatchable. I would rather stick a hot poker in my eye on a tuesday afternoon then to go watch a girls lacrosse game. But i do it for my daughter.

Here's my problem with this board. These are teenage girls playing the game they love. Some teams obviously better than others. But they are all trying their best and playing with their friends. It's not travel ball, where the best play. Yet you "adults" get pleasure out of bashing teenagers? That's effed up. Grow up and enjoy watching your daughters play. Some actual facts . 1) The kid got cut, 2) The kid approached the coach/evaluator she has a relationship with ,3) the kid got to return to the afternoon session4) if the kid makes a team she will be taking the place from someone who did not get cut before the afternoon. At best it all has the appearance of impropriety , at worst it's just another example of how hideous people can behave .

That is the problem with "Power Rankings" system. The league coaches voted WI #2 to start the season. How is that possible when you lose every starter except 3. 1 is your goalie and another one is injured most of the season?

none of that noise again.. reason there's dramatically less televised games, and college too btw is because the game is so hard to watch. like hack a shaq back in the nineties. maul a girl going to shoot (and/or she's just plowing through a crowd which is also ugly) and put her on the free position (free throw) line. a zillion whistels, no flow, game needs some serious help now. guys game way more skill-based. passes, movement, teamwork. a lot less dependent on one on ones..

Am I reading this correctly? A tryout that tells the kids to fix/catch THEIR mistakes? Seems like a flawed tryout process. Do they feel guilty of pushing undeserving kids through?

This is why its just plain stupid for kids with verbals to go to these things and EXPOSE themselves, there's no upside other than adding this drivel to your college bio and mom and dad puffing out there chest on the sidelines of your school games. with the new rules all the 19 & 20 verbals would be best served to avoid these things rather than have coaches see that the rest of the group has caught up and/or passed them. the new ruling gives coaches some wiggle room on all these early verbals, but some parents can't resist...

can I ask a question on this school girl tourney? my daughter is an uncommitted 2019, has had some interest from mid to low ranked D1 schools but no offers to this point. odds are getting long against her with very few spots remaining certainly. made this team though on a or 1 or whatever they call it.

question is, are there a bunch of coaches at this thing? a legitimate recruiting event or just a money grab, thanks for any info.
