Hard to see more than four teams in this tourney unless they combine ages. so only 4 out of 14 regions will have a team? do you even know what the 14 regions are? they only have tryouts listed for 7 regions above plus tristate. guessing they add a few more. Texas and Cali are combining to form a "Southwest" region at the lower levels. Expect to see the same elsewhere. Might get South and Florida though. Travel isn't as much of a PIA from there. If they were smart they would have this event in Cali or Florida. Long Island has enough crazies who would travel for this. Not sure about the other way around.

That sucks, maybe they figure they get a few dropouts for the x-tra large pricetag. But if they really took 24 then the PT is going to be not so good. 20 or 21 kids is fine at this age with 2 goalies. 5 or 6 A; 5 or 6 D; 8 middies; 2 goalies. No fogo in 2024, so more than this would be terrible. You want your kid to be the 10th middie?

Fun to watch the kids get better as they get older. Some good kids on all teams. Now if the weather would just turn for good it would be nice.

What Towns are they from? 24 is a Travel Organization. They put on a town event. Did their teams play in the event? No, not the 24 teams. 24 is comprised of players mostly from Garden City, Wantagh, Farmingdale and Levittown. GC, Farmingdale and Levittown town teams played in addition to Bellmore-Merrick, Manhasset, ESM and RVC.
