YJ "A" picked up three legged dogs, so good luck there. You will be lucky to beat 2024, if that.
Are we talking smack about 6th grade girls? I don't understand the passion filled venom spewed against this age group. Did one of the girls wrong you in some way? Did one the girls not invite your daughter to a Bday party? Look at the way YJ parents talk about other clubs, bingo! Where the venom starts. Can dish it out but cry like babies when given back to them.
Great answer. It is one thing to dislike the parents, club, director, etc. quite another to attack a bunch of 11 year girls and wish and cheer on any struggles they may or may not have. I wish your daughter success this Spring and Summer. But you, I wish a flat tire on the way to work tomorrow.

Igloo and Top Guns Black have the top talent in thus age group. YJ can not compete with them. The sad part of all this is the other clubs are not unusually strong at this age, YJ is unusually weak at this age. The end result sadly is ALL LI teams will be getting blown out by the better Maryland teams at this age group.
There will be shakeups in YJ 2023 the A team losing to the B team is not acceptable. The A team needs talent. The Thorn team has talent. What they need is a coach who isn't Thorn. If Thorn had talent you should be able to roll a ball out and they should be able to beat the B team easily. Well no shake up this year and Thorn is still the coach. Even if we beat B this year it won't be a result of good coaching. For what we pay, we should not have a daddy coach.

What should have happened is the coaches should have been switched. Wright is the better unbiased, positive, talented in getting the best out of players coach. Thorn and the friends and family are b team players and coaches.

Wright is a great coach. She teaches teamwork and really develops Players . She's a great hs coach. Parents on that team don't want to leave unless it's that important to them to be on A. Some left not to be moved To a team where there is no coaching. The girls learn how it's a strategic game and get So much from her. Anyone who has had an opportunity to be coached by her should consider themselves really lucky.

Yes Wright lost some talent, but really all those girls on that team are talented with great potential. They all were good athletes, positive and determined. That says a lot. Wrights team just gained some great players as well. They will once again be a really great team! With a great leader. There is no doubt if you are on this team...you are going places!

Where did all these great players come from? The new players will be welcomed and become a part of the team immediately. This is why they will improve and perform. On the other hand, the new "A" players will be treated as second class citizens, and will soon learn that only the "mean girls club"play significant minutes, even when getting blown out.

The girls who left yj and went to legs or tG were in the top 10 players for the yj 2023. They will be missed greatly! The A team parents will be grouchy and unsatisfied again this year.

They complained so much about the coach that she left and now CR is coaching! That woman is only good at counting money. She's an atrocious coach! Maybe she's just there to shut down the most offensive group of parents in the organization??? Be forewarned 2923's, that's going to be your fate next!

You must be kidding. The 3 Wright girls that left went to chase their town varsity coach in hopes that if they suck up for the next few years they might see the field before they graduate. Those girls were NEVER. NEVER. going to A. If it was offered it was because CR was playing games to keep those checks coming. They'd be back on B in a season once the parents burnt their bridges with Leg. YJ parents are so stupid.

What about the A player moved down who was one of the better A girls? 3 B team players moved up. One left for TG. Good luck getting any playing time to the others especially since they now carry 3 goalies, ridiculous!. Few of the best B team players didn't go to tryouts because they joined Leg, very talented girls who contributed to B team success. Top A team player left for TG. Those are the facts.
