Word is that a ot of 2021 holdbacks from the Bethesda area are turning 2022 and skipping madlax and the other traditional clubs and treking up to the crabs.

They better have an entire team of holdbacks to compete and beat top teams in this region. Last year they did not.

Crabs will be better this season as they cut a bunch of dead weight. No way they got smoked by 89+2, game was close until the end. Hawks definitely team to beat, with API a close #2. Just my 2 cents from impartial observer...

I bet MM has his team ready for Crabs again. I see MM team being at top along with Hawks with Crabs, API, not that far behind them

Funny. I was there and that game was never really close after the 1st qtr. Wasn't the final like 10-4?

Dead weight? You realize that you are talking about 12 year old boys? Classy as always Crabs parents

Wrong. One was offered spot and turned down crabs. One didn't go to Crabs tryouts because he knew he was going to 89+2. Both kids go to St. Pauls with MM's son. Keep making up lies though. Someone might believe them. After all, Ryan always says that no one has ever turned down a spot to play for Crabs. Funny that 2 did on the 2022 team alone this year.

Strange that Crabs would cut starters when loosing so many other kids.

Not mark. No trouble counting at all and not affiliated with 89+2 either. The score was 10-4. Go check HOCO website if you don't believe me

Based on chatter
API stays the same
T9dee1 improves
Fca improves
Crabs drops
Hawks improves
Rr improves
3D and storm - no chatter
Madlax stays the same
Bethesda stays the same

An API kid told my kid at football that API lost 3 kids who were on their EMO. Not true?

Feel bad for Cannons organization( not the classless parents though) They are in a tough spot. If they lose a kid, it is geographically hard to replace them as they have no real close clubs to them. They lost a couple kids last year to Hawks. Not sure about this year but even if 1-2 left, it can decimate them.

Agreed, they have made a deal with MadLax and I think they will be fine. But yes, very difficult to keep quality kids. they were very good at this age group for 2 years.

Madlax deal was a waste. They gave money away.

Hasn't helped or changed the Cannons in anyway.

The 2022 team was very good for several years.

Daddy Ball took the team over.

They had a pretty good coach this past 2 years. I never understood why kids would leave a championship team. But these day coaching is a huge deal if that was the case.

Team chemistry was poison. You could hear the Cannons kids cussing each other out during the games. Daddy ball didn't help. Football mentality to game can only work for so long.rbbzfc

Crabs is no better than they were a year ago. Other teams are. Should be interesting spring.
