Learn how to count, the score was 7-9. Well played. Disgraceful officiating. Congrats Diamondbacks Reffing very erratic. Some refs thought it was no checking U9 rules and others ignored shots to the head which leveled kids. Strange mix. Ref should checks LI F/O kid stick. What a comment? Really sums up the loud mouths yelling at the game.NO CLUE!!! No wonder the sane diamondback parents all stayed away and said how embarrassed they were.

If Express loses to Dbacks will sweet perm dad cut his jerry curl? If Express loses to Dbacks will sweet perm dad cut his jerry curl? If Express loses to Dbacks, or any other team, nothing changes in our world. It's just a game dude. It's not the end of the world. And more importantly, it's probably a great lesson for the kids. I could be wrong, but I'm guessing you're either a Smash or United parent. Both teams are fantastic! Why can't we just focus, and enjoy the play on the field, and not the results of the games? 2022 is tremendously talented. Just let the kids play, stay positive, and enjoy the time on the sidelines. Rant over. SO TRUE! AMEN! Not an Outlaw; not from Express. I hear that Express has a great 2022 team this year. Outlaw team has come a very long way and to spout that they are a "B" Team is simply nonsense. All of you parents who are reliving youth through a 6th, 7th grader should get a reality check. This age group has tremendous talent across the board. What many don't realize is that these kids are hitting puberty, growing, getting stronger, and have been increasing and strengthening their lacrosse IQ. Credit the coaches, credit those parents who partake constructively with their child's lacrosse learning and development. All of the negativity on this board transcends what we, as parents, should be teaching our children. How about using that energy to be positive to all kids so that maybe, just maybe, a generation could learn to do something to make the world a better place for THEIR kids. I find it absolutely hilarious at the looks on some opposing team's parents' faces when I exclaim "Great save, Goalie!" Or state, "Great shot!" when we lose a goal. These are kids for crying out loud! Parents have the responsibility and obligation to lead by example... start leading in a positive way folks! Keep it fun and in good taste. Our kids will have enough drama to deal with when they get older. Let them be kids... let's give them the tools to be better lacrosse players and, importantly, better people than what surrounds us these days. TO ALL 2022 BOYS! HAVE A GREAT REMAINDER OF YOUR SEASON! Have a safe and happy July 4th, everyone. My rant over.... Here here

Express is an A team. Dbacks are a low AA team. They only beat some Thunder team by 1, who a previous poster said played spring league in a lower division. All hail Lax Factory!

No one cares about your assessment Still - how is this possible? A local B level team only loses by 1, yet Diamondbacks beat the #1 team in the county by 3? You have to love 12 year old lacrosse.

Hawks beat Express to knock them out of Young Guns with 2nd loss in two days. Hawks deserve a mention as an elite team also. As does express and Diamondbacks and smash and igloo and probably a few other teams that aren't on this radar. And by next season, it will be different as they kids reach puberty. Lets all root for parity because that is how the kids will get better. Good showing by Maryland programs this tourney

Put a longpole on express face off... Game over. So you're saying he can't be beaten by any faceoff kid in 2022? Curious as to which pole shut him down? I thought he looked good this weekend. Also curious as to why you're scouting 6th graders weirdo???

Refs were completely biased toward the NY teams. 10 penalties to 1 in one game. Pretty pathetic just to say you won. Happy 4th.

Great lacrosse this weekend. It remains clear that certain programs are more liberal than others when it comes to set rosters for the season or age limits at the tournaments. I don't agree with those tactics but it is not for me to decide. I just hope it doesn't take a serious injury for administrators to adopt stricter and more consistent standards. Again, great lax, great kids and for the most part, great parents. There are a few teams from MD and LI that should be really proud of their programs.

Express was missing starting middie and another starting middie played on a sprained ankle. Do with that what you will. Hawks was the best team this weekend. Speaks to the talent in the grade.

All summer long like every summer at every tournament from Florida to NY, refs are an issue. the good refs are spread thin and the elite refs are doing High School showcases.. get over it. every team this weekend had at least 1 game that wasn't called great.

Stop it. one player should not make that much of a difference especially for a team that uses guest players. Parents who make excuses teach their kids to make excuses.

Any teams outside of Long Island and Maryland making any noise? NXT Cup this weekend. 26 teams in the A Division from all over. No Express or Hawks, but the NY/MD 9/1 teams, Igloo, DBacks and some good PA Teams. LI & MD are far ahead in terms of skill at this point. Expect one of the 9/1 teams to win it.

While they have some talent, they're just not as competitive as the other top LI teams; Express, Smash, United, Igloo, Oulaws are all more well rounded teams. Good luck to ALL of the boys/teams.
