How is the recon team or the recon program?

We played them last week. It was a good game play wise even if they did beat us. The defense shut us down time and again. No smack talk on the field or at the end of the game according to my son.

Should be a good day out at NLF. Bandits are beating teams by 10-15 plus goals a game, Badgers look horrible and lost, S2S should have stayed home, Laxachusettes is huge and good and Bethesda is average.

1st - Bandits

3rd - Bethesda
4th - Badgers
10th - S2S

Good day yesterday. Outlaws Select is the top team. Empire good team. True Blue and Long Beach should have been in the B division. Not sure why they think they are A.

You nailed that prediction right. Bandits are a great team. They make no mistakes. Badgers have really fallen off big time. They didn't even come close to competing with the Bandits. Years past that game would be exciting to watch but not anymore.

Actually hasn't been close in a while, maybe ever. I saw Bandits beat them by 15 a year ago. The year before it was by 9.

We beat Empire twice that day. Outlaws We are a top team with new head coach who will make a big difference.

Is BM still coaching anywhere?

I thought that the HB's only lost 2 players from last year. Why such a drop off? Are the other kids catching up? Is it coaching? I realized that we are talking about 10-11-12 year olds, but it seems like they may have fallen off a cliff.

That was Empire A team and Outlaws barely beat them. Reffing was horrendous unfortunately.

They are still one of the best teams in the age group, don't let all of this talk fool you. They are the #2 team on LI behind the Bandits; unless Igloo brings their 2022's to play which seems to be about 50% of the time. As more kids start playing travel, which, in recent years, has been 4th grade, the other teams just got better. That's a good thing! Having 6-7 very competitive teams makes everyone on them better. And those rosters will all change in the next few years. Losing or gaining 1-2 kids every year can make a huge difference in a team.

My point was, it's a shame the game is not decided by the talented kids on the field, but rather the referees making lopsided calls or better yet, a coach calling the penalty out to the referee.

Oh, so that's why the Outlaws beat them twice. It's because the refs and now the coach called out one penalty. Sorry that was not added to the list of excuses, that's a new one. It has to be something, right? It's not possible that empire losses a game yet two. my answer may be moronic but you played into it with not one but two excuses. What coach does not tell when a penalty happens. The game was 40 minutes, just score more goals next time and stop blaming everyone else for your losses. Talent scores goals and wins the game.
