It wasn't just LIE. The 88+3 teams had guest players also. Smash Didn't True, that goalie was added to the team this week so technically he wasn't a guest. You have been misinformed So then why doesn't he have any smash gear?? Why is he in a practice pinney, with a Smithtown helmet? HA!! He doesn't have any Smash gear because he plays for United.

United has one full time goalie on their roster. Some tournaments the Smithtown kid comes and helps out if needed.

Bethesda/ Smash rematch this weekend. Who added the better players to win this round? There is no rule saying you have to use your spring league line up for tournaments. Why all the complaints?

fl$...there was a team called SBL that had some holdbacks. The kids were 8 inches taller than any other kids in the age group and dominated. Think having 3-4 kids from the better 2021 team playing in a B 2022 tournament. Wasn't right and wasn't fair. Other than that the top teams seemed to play right games.

NLF was the least safe tournament I have ever seen.
No trainer stations at all. No calls for blows to the head and neck. Cross checks to the back with Possession and falling down not called. Kids knocked down to ground for minutes after blow to the head allowed to continue without a break - no concusion protocol.
I agree that running clock do tourneys in general suck and you don't want a lot of whistles, but safety has to have priority.

But last time I mentioned a connection of NLF and MLT.com on this site, it didn't get posted. Wonder if this one will get through.

It's funny how Express has won 4 championships in the last 5 weekends, without a loss and there is no talk anymore about who is the best! Clearly these kids deserve some love, they have beaten EVERYONE, all of the best teams! They are the team to beat this summer!

Smash - United considering to form one top team? I hope not. To have two teams that good in one club is rare - they both compete at the highest level. The focus should be continuing the development (losing is part of it) the kids and getting them ready for the next level. Breaking them up would seem like a business decision and the wrong move. IMHO.

United and Smash are two excellent teams, respectively. The teams have their own dynamics and chemistry, which should be preserved. It would be a shame to change.
