WI 11- MC 7 Final
SW 9- NPT 6 Final Good matchup but any of the four in the final would have been a good matchup. WI did give SW their only conference loss earlier in the season.

Good games in A B and C in the Suffolk finals with all three defending state champs still alive.
I think WI and ESM will win and BBP/MS is a toss up but it wouldn't surprise me if MS hands BBP their first loss.

Daughter plays YJ w that RP jv coaches daughter. Let's just say everyone thinks he's a joke and NOT well liked. For the record as well knows nothing about the game other than to tell his daughter to go to cage . RP would do well to get that guy away FYI: Jv coach barely goes to his daughters tournaments so quit making up things

I guess the first game does not count Matt lost to BBP by 7 in the regular season and by 2 in the playoffs and while Matt is a solid team, Mt Sinai is better, and they are defending state champs and they do know how to win tight games so lighten up Francis as I was trying to not pick what would be considered the chalk

BBP rolls them . That said I would have taken mattituck in a rematch w sinai and thought shoreham was going to beat sinai as well. BBP by 7.

West Islip will out coach Smithtown west. no camparison. that will be the difference. both teams are loaded. that goalie clear down the middle of the field will not work against WI.

Its a shame Wantagh, you had the best team in Nassau. Wantagh has an excellent team, but I'm pretty sure GC beat them during the regular season. The regular season game against Manhasset was a 1 goal game too. All 3 programs have great teams this year - any one of them had the chance to win it. GC had the easier road so far.

Didn't see the game but Im assuming a Wantagh girl shot when they were trying to run out the clock. This lead to Manhasset tying the game? Wantagh winning 9 - 8 and running out the last minute and a half with the stall. Game over. But with about 12 seconds left the Wantagh girl goes to the cage and shoots. Goalie makes save and sends quick clear and Manhasset called a TO. 9.8 seconds left. Barry goes down field and passes for tying goal with no time on clock. Devastating loss

What a great game!!!!!! Both teams should be very proud of themselves. The game was played at 110% level by both teams from the 1st to the last second. As a parent of the following game and a spectator , it was one of the most entertaining and exciting women's lacrosse games I've ever seen!!!! Thank you.

But certain play calls and timing you time outs I guess play a role. I think all the top 4 teams have had good coaching. Except northport. Not a fan of her style

Seems like the local media has forgotten about girls lacrosse all together. MSG Varsity has completely given up on girls lax, not 1 playoff game on live broadcast or tape replay, just those 2 a$$ kissing idiots recap on Tuesday and having to listen to that " expert" on girls lax drone on about his wife and kid, or pat himself on the back about that tournament makes even that unbearable. He should have married Tracy Weiner.
