The team with 2 or 3 holdbacks won today. Can you guess which team it is? Known fact FCA is in second place for holdbacks, right behind Crabs in the HOCO 2020 elite division. But lets just wait, the FCA faithful will yell and scream they only have one holdback, which is pure bs. It will be coming soon, screaming not true we only have one holdback. I saw that team this morning, it is apparent they have quite a few holdbacks. But, according to them they are a Christian team (you know FCA) but believe me they do not live up to that name.

You are correct, fca beyond serious hackers. Yet their fans yelled and complained about every call. Their fans are something else.

This is rich coming from Looneys. They are by far the worst behaved parents followed closely by Crabs in our experience.

The poster was wrong in goading Looneys on the forum but 9-5 is not a bad score at all. Not near a blow out and nobody in double digits so kudos to both teams.

Sorry, but fca is much worst than Crabs. FCA complains and has hissy fits over every call against their team. I saw this last year and it continues again this year. Looney's parents say little and are no where near the level of complaining as fca. One thing I will give fca fans is they do cheer for their team but the complaining is at times out of hand.
Best thing I would like to see, as this is a kids game, is to cheer for your team and let the coaches take care of addressing the refs, not the fans.

Game not quite as close as the score indicates. Looney's goalie hurt in 4th period and the score at that time was 8 to 2. Bringing in a cold goalie is difficult and fca was able to score 3 goals in the final period.
There have been 13 games played in this division so far and only 5 games have gone double digits and only by one of two goals. These teams are evenly matched, except for Crabs, but everyone knows their story, and much to the surprise to Crabs coach, his team is not blowing anyone out. I know that is making him steam.

Crabs has blown everyone out except Hawks. Crabs will beat FCA by at least 5. Hawks will be beat FCA. Hoco seeds IMO will be 1. CRABS 2.Loonies 3. HAWKS 4.FCA. Crabs and Loonies in finals and Crabs win. Crabs and Loonies in different league.

Will have to agree to disagree. Crabs parents are relentless even when their team is up by 15. You would think every goal is a national championship for their precious 6'2" man children and they get angry when anyone scores on them and makes excuses on why it happened. Only surpassed by their coaches' antics and losing his cool on the sidelines yelling at kids.

I agree with your assessment, but if it is Looney's/Crabs in final, I'm pulling for Looney's. They didn't have their FOGO first time they played, maybe he may make a difference if they play again. But, as all teams say, a lost to Crabs in this division isn't considered a loss.

Agree with final ranking but every team is closely aligned in this division so a ranking can and will change on any given day w the exception of crabs who given thr number of older kids they have, no team of 13/14 year olds could win. Sad really. This was proven last year when they lost big when they were not allowed to have their holdbacks. It is interesting how the two "best " teams have manipulated the rules to their advantage in the hoco league. The league never gave the other teams an even playing field by allowing them to do what they do best. They can enjoy their championship game for what it really is - a battle of the hoco rule breakers.

Every team is this division are rule breakers, no exceptions. No matter which teams are playing in the championship game it would be the same. There are probably rule breakers in some of the other 2020 divisions as well, like AA and maybe A. HOCO has worded their guidelines rather weakly and this is what you get. I don't see it changing as long as grade base is utilized as the criteria. If it went to age base, much easier to control and administer. As for Crabs, like another poster stated, a loss to Crabs isn't considered a loss, that club just abuses every rule and guideline they can find to their advantage. Ryan M is driven purely by his ego and money.

The Crabs have multiple players that are 16 years old. 16 years old in 8th grade. Fraudulent team.

But only one team is breaking the rules by bringing in a player who is already playing in a high school season. So you have a team with a large number of holdbacks purposely created for the purpose of winning over younger boys and a team that has just a few holdbacks which is also allowing a fogo player who they do not stand a chance without and plays on his high school team to play in a youth league despite the rules. A championship where lack of character seems to be the pre-requisite. Wonder what the trophy that Hoco will give to the winner will say and should they put the * next to Champion now?

Credit to all the teams in this division - even the biggest spread of Next Level and Crabs is the only double digit game as well as the largest spread. Even the team without a win has had losses only by 1 goal with two in triple OT (with the exception of Crabs game who they kept to a decent margin given the size difference). The team is definitely struggling with their size this year compared to other teams. FCA seems to be struggling also but not with size - they just do not seem as fluid as the other teams in this bracket. Looneys and Hawks do not let up with their pressure which has helped them considerably. All in all for those teams that are playing the game as it was meant to be, it is a good bracket and has been fun competition for the boys.

. That statement proves you have no idea what you are talking about. Looney's has 2 to 3 holdbacks while Crabs have at least 10 holdbacks and 2 double holdbacks, who will be 16 years old this spring or they are already 16. You need to get your facts straight before you start posting inaccurate information. [lacrosse], you don't even know how to spell Looney's correctly.

How many times are you going to post this? Mr 10 holdbacks and 2 doubly holdbacks and kids being 16. Seriously!! STFU you whiny little girl. We get it. They have holdbacks. You know what? DEAL WITH IT!! Or try another sport where you are only allowed to play kids your age.

Do you just troll all the threads for an opportunity to tell everyone that they have 10 holdbacks and 2 double holdbacks?

. Hate to tell you dbag but this is the first time I have mentioned about your shita*s holdbacks. This is a typical hissy fit from Crab dads, who hate to be called out for their abusing the system. You are really the one who needs to STFU. Each time a poster calls out Crabs people like you act like you need your tampon and get all out of sorts. And I know for a fact there are some 16 year olds, should be in 10th grade right now but they are at BL in the 8th. That is a perfect place for them. Seems like you are the one trolling in your feeble effort to defend the Crab cesspool. And why should anyone in club lacrosse have to deal with a cheat like king Crab and a holes like you. But in typical Crab fashion, hissy fit time again. Aren't you really proud of your 16 year old 8th grader. Oh, and since you brought this up maybe I'll bring this up on a daily basis. Get your tampons ready ladies.

. Heard there is nothing left after Ryan McClernan stops by for a snack. Heard he eats every thing in sight. Must be true, just look at him, what about 5 ft 7 inches and 260-270 lbs. Just a disgusting individual, in more ways than one.

Thats the problem. There aren't any other sports that allow this to go on. Nobody would stand for it. The $$ has gotten so out of control in youth lacrosse and people like winners so gaming the system this way works for Crabs. Its one thing to be held back but its another to be the biggest kid in the grade above and still be held back playing against much younger much less physically mature kids.

Actually - yes I do just troll to point out what a sham the Crabs 8th grade team is - What kind of an adult - with a straight face and a whole lot of swagger puts 16 year olds on a 2020 team. I am sorry - that is just pathetic in on so many levels.

Interestingly enough Next Level was losing to Hawks by several goals most of the game and the game went to OT so another incredibly close bracket game. Take out Crabs and all these teams are so closely aligned that any team can win any week depending on how the 13 and 14 year old BOYS show up to the field feeling. Even the bigger overage Crabs have not rolled over any team - they have had to keep their hold backs in most of the game for each game to ensure a win and have their coach screaming threats at them from the sidelines. Lucky to have enough teams locally to make it a competitive spring for these kids.

Hawks were down 0-5 in Q1. Goalie was having trouble and the coach switched to another goalie. 5-3 at half. Hawks won in OT. Well coached team. Exciting game although poorly officiated. Could have gone either way - Hawks goalie absolutely stuffed a kid on the crease and then Hawks scored.

No you don't get it, everyone in youth club lacrosse dislikes what Crabs stands for and what Ryan M stands for. They just don't say it out loud for obvious reasons. You seem to be the idiot for not understanding that. Oh, that's right, your a Crab dad.
