I hate to tell you that I'm not the person spewing the venom against N.U. But you have to admit I was right. Since you want to attack my daughter let's talk about her, not her team. She is top half for her position, top 20% for all freshman, and top 1/3 for all players on impact ratings, all this as you stated on a losing team while still studying for one of the forbidden majors. How's your kid doing because I'm pretty happy with my daughters progress so far. You are a certified nut job and nobody attacked your daughter. Not sure what your beef is with NU but it's really getting ridiculous. Glad to hear your daughter is doing well. I don't know what your problem is with me, I don't really have one with N.U. Other than I think there not doing well and are getting by on reputation alone. Like I said you should admit that I was right. There last game will be a day g fight in Ohio, if they lose no tourney for them. If, and it is an "if", they destroy Ohio State at OSU, the #18 team in the country, will you post on here that maybe you were wrong? How r they "getting by on rep alone"? You have been shown the schedule. They have played 11 of the top 14 teams ranked ahead of them. They r 3-8 against them. Not to their standards no question, but if anything ought to rank them higher than 15, not lower. And have beaten all 4 teams behind them in the rankings/out of rankings. They are actually getting penalized for the schedule they chose to play. If they beat OSU, they r into the tournament likely. And should be. I'm sure though the people that agree with you most, honestly, are the players and coaches at NU. My guess is they are nowhere near satisfied with their record. New to the discussion, but two things - Ohio St hasn't played much of a schedule at all and NU should easily beat them. All the teams that are ranked ahead of NU weren't always until NU lost to them As predicted NU lit up ohio st - can't see how or why Ohio st is in the top 20, they have zero quality wins and several bad losses. BC and Loyola will pass them in the final rankings - towson and or Hopkins should slip from top 20 as well As predicted? You must be Nostradamus, what a leap to predict that.

So now you think they r good. Got it. Should easily take care of a top 20 team, got it.
Which is it moron? As predicted, NU is an #8-12 team in the country. Said it a month ago, still holds true today. Not a team many would like to see in the tournament. Having said that, they are likely not a final 8 team this year. If they get there, would consider it a success at this point, and certainly would continue to make you look like an idiot.

The question here is how you think beating a team ranked behind them in the poll means anything. And when they tied the score in the 2nd half, I would have just loved to see your face get redder by the second. Their best player took over and that team is just not very good. And certainly not top 10 as you continue to try to convince us. 8 to 12 nope. And I see you are no longer trying to put them as one of the top teams in the NCAA. You've lowered the bar now, we can all see it, will they even get to your lowered target?

Do we need a tournament this year? Can anyone top Maryland? This will be a boring bad end for the sport if this happens, again.

It's Maryland's tournament to lose. They've beaten everyone they've played, fairly comfortably, and are the clear favorites. They have depth, talent, speed, IQ, coaching, etc... Another Maryland championship!

Another Maryland championship! And importantly have remained healthy. Always a key. They have had no injuries to major players.

Great game today for the ACC title. Shame it had to come down to the refs being involved. Stick checks shouldn't be look at the stick until you find something wrong with it. Players stick was ruled legal but then they looked at it again until they found something. Referee shouldn't have a card to refer to so she can figure out if a stick is illegal. Rules are a joke.

Stony Brook going to put a beat down on Hofstra tonight. 10 more points for Murph In what was a lopsided PAL game! The fact that SB tried to get a goal for every senior, including defenders was an indication of how overmatched Hofstra was, SB played with them the entire second half - embarrassing to watch if you're a Hofstra fan Do spallina and smith have the same time coaching each team? You really think that's the big difference? One coach makes adjustments at halftime and one doesn't! Several times Hofstra tied or close at half and get blown out in the second half - that's ALL coaching. or lack thereof. Thankfully the season is over, good luck to those stuck there next year

Yup, that seems to be the chatter but what about the fact that SS just got contract renewal? What happens to that, does she get paid either way?

Yup, that seems to be the chatter but what about the fact that SS just got contract renewal? What happens to that, does she get paid either way? SS isn't going anywhere. Program doesn't bring in any money so they don't have to pay her much. Firing her now would mean paying two coaches instead of one. As for halftime adjustments, how about just getting the girls out on the field with enough time to warm up for 2nd half. Came out against Elon with 30 seconds before start of 2nd half and proceeded to give up 5 goals in 4 minutes. Game was over before they even broke a sweat.

They have their full complement of scholarships and their average attendance is 275. They are losing their shirts like most fully funded mid level programs. No way they fire SS and eat the contract so their team could jump up from #78 to #35? Isn't meaningful enough to make the change. Now PM at the end of SS new contract could happen. PM isn't leaving LI so he will still be local at that time. Plus the pipeline of absolute studs will continue to Adelphi so he will continue to pad his resume accomplishments which is already 5 pages long

Actually NU ... he is just bitter that his girl couldn't get into or play at such a great place. He thinks he's funny, but he's not. And the Old Bitty Poll does not know how to handle things like SOS and RPI very well. Hard for their brains to process it all (impossible for little bitter guy). Laxpower does though, and has NU ranked 8th. That ranking even includes the Old Bitty Poll as an input. Pretty accurate now that the whole regular season has been played. Someone has a chance to knock Maryland off in the NCAAs. It will be someone who plays great D and has a great goalie if it's going to happen. Don't believe anyone can out gun them in a shootout. Maybe a UNC or even upstart USC has a chance. Not a great one, but a chance.

Hey anti NW guy , give it a break. I am not a NW fan but it's obvious you have an obsession and it most likely is a result of some perceived wrong that happened to your kid . Maybe they rejected her or maybe some kid that goes there was always favored over your kid , who knows but give it a rest , it's just pathetic and sad.

What team do you think has a chance to knock off Maryland? What do you think about the rule changes implemented this year now that we have seen them for a full regular season? What do you think of the shot clock as it is currently structured for next year? Who should be coach of the year this year? Where should there be coaching changes? What do you think of the spread west and south of programs and how that will shape the future of college lacrosse? Want some more?

What do you think about the rule changes implemented this year now that we have seen them for a full regular season? Like being able to kick the ball. Like the quick restart, but think you should be able to do it in your own defensive critical scoring area. Don't like the 3-second rule being essentially eliminated by making it a minor foul. Too many teams packing it in with very little consequences. Just have to look locally at SB. It's boring and rewards poor defense.

Want some more? 1 no one will beat MD. 2 don't like the fast restart, they should go to the men's format of everyone can move on the dead ball whistle, ball restarts on refs whistle. 3 can't really give an opinion on shot clock but hope it works, will definitely fix some of the stall issue . Cathy Reese until someone can beat her. 5 at many schools. Some coaches are no longer producing as they once did. Say spread of the game is good but still need to disperse top talent evenly. And here is one for you, don't you think only the 3 woman on the draw circle should be able to be between the restraining lines until there is possession gained by one of them or until the ball crosses the line. It's a mess on the draw hard to watch with too many Ricky dink fouls determining possession, especially in critical situations
