Blatant.

Not necessarily. Some towns have paid coaches for their older teams to give the dads a break and remove any of the "Daddy Coaches" politics that presents itself..

I think the poster means that all of the parents scream and yell and "coach from the sidelines", as if it actually helps the kids

College coaches actually check to see if after a kid makes a mistake if he looks to the bench/coach or if he looks at his lunatic parents. Kids who look at the parents are less likely to get recruited.

What happened to the A division? All the good teams are now in 1. Not good for the weaker team. Going to be a lot of lopsided games.

and port beat smithtown by a bunch in same tournrment , means nothing this grade a has a ton of talented kids any team can beat another on any given sunday

Who are the weaker teams

So a 2022 ems coach is asking kids on the team to pass to his son to help him score. If his son scores the coach will give the kid that assist $5.

I agree, lot's of great game's in last years A Division. It's not good for the stronger or weaker teams to have a league like this. going to be a lot of lopsided games which is waste of everybody's time.

Yes, of course there will be some lopsided games. But that's what happens when some of the top teams rosters are 1/3 holdbacks. (We all know which teams they are by the way, it's not rocket science) Might as well have some towns play their 5g team vs non-cheating 6g teams. My guess to you sir, is that you held your son back way back when to give him that insane advantage. Now you are complaining that you are wasting you time at PAL games when you could be taking the little one to the barber for a quick shave.

Invite only ? U mean the coaches of these "NLF" teams invite their 10 best players and do drills. Oh yea , they take your money too.

Can you please tell us what teams in Nassau 6th grade has 1/3 hold backs, because I don't know of any. The good teams in this grade are the traditional good lacrosse towns.

The Nlf super summer series tourney is shaping up to have almost all the best teams on the east coast.

If they are grabbing your money, at least you get some great match ups.
