Or play in the MPLL being run by Koopers at St. Paul's. It sounds like the majority of clubs are doing this on Sat. in addition to the HoCo league on Sun.

Well must Madlax kids live in VA so they play on a local NVYLL team on Sat. Must NVYLL A teams practice 3 times a week M,W,FRi, and Madlax practices on Tues and Thur. So my son had lacrosse during the spring 7 days a week for 3 years in a row.

The Rec leagues are pretty much C level competition in MD so the club kids rarely play both.

I would say VA rec A level with NVYLL is worth the effort still. Its not travel ball but because most kids do both still the skill level is there.

Most of the better 2020 teams are heading to a league outside of Philly on Sundays.

I think that's a Saturday league since everyone will be playing HoCo on Sundays.

People. Hoco at the 2020 level plays on Saturdays. The two local teams playing in philly on Sunday's are the crazies. Looneys/ 91. Vs no one really better than who is staying down in bmore. Travel on Sunday for spring ball seems like a reach. Whole sunday is shot.

No, in the HOCO league 2020's play on Saturday and all other age groups play on Sunday. The stronger 2020 teams play on Sunday in the NXT Mid Atlantic Lacrosse League in the Phila area.

What 2020s are playing on Sundays in what organized league locally? The teams involved are from surrounding areas to Philly and are not traveling there every Sunday - it is being set up to accommodate the regional teams - they will play at most every other Sunday maybe less. An hour and a half drive to Philly vs the drive that some clubs traditionally made as part of NYPLL is not a bad thing. Guess the nay sayer was not invited.

Looney's got kicked out of the NPYLL and nobody wants to associate with them. Very good 2020 team, but the rest of the club is dreadful. Parents are the worst.

Sounds like the teams could opt for two games a day or or three but not sure if the official schedule is out. Great opportunity to play other teams outside of the immediate area.

Nope. Everyone knows Looney's parents are the least educated ones out there. Only club ever kicked out of the NPYLL for cheating.

If he is as dumb as you I would say Crabs, they have a boat load of holdbacks so that will help him in school and maybe not have to take the GED like you.

ok you don't like crabs either. trying to figure out where the enlightened parents have their kids play lacrosse. Seriously - if you want to tell us all about which clubs to avoid, how about sharing which clubs you support?

Are you kidding, no one here is taking you seriously, you need to figure things out for yourself. Oh, that's right, your still trying to pass your GED.

MPLL is getting more teams at the upper ages 2022, 2021, 2020. Looks like 10 team leagues. Rock, Looneys, HoCo, Rough Riders, 91, Laxworld, Wolfpack at almost all ages. FCA, Hawks, Bitmore, Ground Control, Coppermine, Koopers, max only in 1 age group.

I'm all for it. Let's see who we are playing. The rest are a bunch of cheating [lacrosse]holes with the reclass and pre-first 15-16 year olds playing 8th grade...You know who I am looking at.

Youth Football makes every kid go to DMV and get a ID. and most leagues make them weight in for at least the first 4 games of the year. Once again lacrosse uppity white folk think they are above any rules or questioning of them.

I just went to the Rising Sons site and they put birthdate, address, phone number, height, weight, school. Not sure I'd want all that out there but birth month and year wouldn't bother me at all. Also I think that every coach should have the full birthdate verified by government issued id, (passport, state id etc) of the competing teams. Youth football does it so it's not that hard.

Soccer has been doing the picture ID for players since the early 80's maybe even before. No reason that The spineless organization known as U.S. Lacrosse can't require this for participants.

US Lacrosse has nothing to do with this. Individual leagues must create and enforce their own policies.

So who decides what bracket teams play in? Does HoCo give a sanity check to what teams throw themselves out there for? I don't think teams playing too far up or down is good for anyone.

bologna! US LAX is the governing body for lacrosse in the U.S.! If they truly cared they would figure out a way to enforce the issue.
