Who cares how good 2022 kids are ..those teams will be different in a few years. if your not big you will be gone

Best 22 coaching staffs United and igloo. As far as age cut go look yourself YOU already know or google it

These top teams all have excellent coaching. SL , JT, SM all D1 knowledgable guys as well is MC. Like another poster said any of these teams can win against each opponent. That's how it should be.

Igloo won the national championship by playing all 21 kids in the game like they always do. They don't roster 30 kids and decide who will play in a tournament and also do not keep players on field for 80 percent of semi-final game. All contribute to wins. True team effort.

Spoken like the parent of an igloo player who might be cut next year. Igloo like any other competitive team plays their top 12 field players 80% of the time. And the coaches know the top player, the top 3, top 10...they know the weakest players also and throughout the season they discuss this and at the end of the season they will discuss upgrading 2-4 players. A kid may get equal playing time over the course of a tournament where some games are 12-0 but in the finals or in games that count you can bet the weakest 8 kids will be riding the bench.

Who rosters 30 kids ? Cmon , let's be fair here. And in semi and finals I'm sure they played the better kids more . Which is what most teams do and should .

It really shouldn't be called the "national championship" if Smash, United or some others weren't there. Should refer to it as [lacrosse]'s.

Agree not all elite clubs played in Dicks but A) that was their choice or B) they didn't qualify and C) it is the closest thing there is to a National Championship for U-11. No matter what, it is a great showing for Long Island lacrosse (again) on a national stage.

You mean they won a tournament run by Dicks sporting goods..they made good money and helped the economy by having teams travel. That's all it was and some fools drank the Kool Aid..I did a few years ago and realized how stupid I was , you will also in a few years

Yes . Don't play fall or spring... Beware he are still around and will win a lot of games in low tier tournaments.

You seem to be very intense over youth lacrosse. Don't try to play and just watch the kids play.

So for the next 4 months you people are going to argue about what team is the best ? So with all the kids playing full time for about the last 4 years or so , there's only 23 top AA kids ? I don't think so. I'd say between the 4/5 top teams in any order , there's prob 60 kids that are interchangeable . Why do you people care about the club name so much ? They certainly don't care about you . Wake up people.

What is wrong with you? the kid must have made an impact to the team for you to remember him , guess the only [lacrosse] is you for causing this family to depart from 91 causing your kids team to be average now.

Its a shame this could be a very useful forum to help promote the kids and the sport. Instead it is full of hate. Larry, you doing best you can but the only way to stop this is by stopping the anonymous posting. If people have something to say let them put their name to it. Should clean things up quick.

Just because they register does not mean that they are not anonymous. Either way, the hate will continue. Stay above the nonsense and don't feed the trolls. I will continue to keep the kids safe. Imagine that these poor kids have idiots as parents. Sad.

The 2022 boys page has become slop. And in the face of serious posters that have tried to keep it positive. I know the moderators do their best, but more can be done to weed the trolls out.

Who are the best 2022 teams in the country?

Again ... Who cares ? A your son improving ? Is he a key player on the team he is on ?does he have a good coach ? Oh yea , is he having fun ?

There are the Long Island 4-5 (alphabetically Express A, Igloo A and 2 or 3 of the 91 teams -- depending on whether you exclude United for playing out of state or exclude Bandits for having lots of 2023 kids on the team).

MD/VA area - Annapolis Hawks, Cannons, Arden Diamondbacks, Seminole Select

Philly area - Rising Sons, Freedom Red

Canada - ELEV8 Rising Black, HardCor U13, Evolve Elite 2022

Others (again, no particular order) - True State Black U13, ADVNC National 2022, Palm Beach Revolution Elite 2022, Madlax Capital 2022, C2C Atlanta 2022, Texas Mustangs
