Last weekend Madlax 2020 beat Igloo and Dukes. Played Leading Edge and Sweet lax pretty close. Lots of new players it looks like. Sweet lax won the toutournament.

Meaning each of these are the second tier 2020 team for these Clubs and Madlax would not come close to FCA Blue, 91 MD Force or Looneys Orange the first tier of those Clubs in the area. Maybe they could play Crabs 2020 on age Denver team.

Mad lax 2020 was destroyed by Hawks at Landon. Don't know if they were full strength - but they were embarrased.

Dukes 2020 is terrible. With the addition of the Sons in Phila and Mesa, Freedom and HHH, there isn't enough talent for another good team.

The Hawks FO middie is a true 8th grader and one of the best In that age group. He is in a good place now. It is what it is. He will continue to work hard and get better regardless of where he plays. He can face against any 2019 kid out there. All this back and forth about hold backs is ridiculous. If your kid is good he will shine to those that are truly looking for talent no matter what team he plays on.

First of all, it's Blackwolf. Second, Blackwolf is NOT VLC. VLC is a different club owned by the Crabs.

How was competition at Mayflower yesterday

There are boys in this area that play both my nephew happens to be one of them and while he played BW yesterday, today VLC is playing Terp classic

Interesting as Leading Edge beat that same Freedom team
11-4 and Rising Sons beat the same Freedom team 13-5 at same event today. Understand why they only mentioned the Rising Sons game when putting it out there.

If you are really a Looney's parent please stop. It's your son's success and his teammates, not yours or the other parents. Be humble so it rubs off on your kid.

Guess that depends if they play their on age Denver team or their holdback laden team. One they can lose with their character intact, the other they continue as the team with no respect across the community.

You really want to help your kid get into a good college and/ or get scholarship money? Worry less about showcases and more about the SAT and ACT. Have your son get on the honor roll and crank out a 33 on his ACT and watch him go to a better school than most of the ones you are dreaming about for lax. Oh and an ACT tutor is a fraction of what gets spent on lax.

This is copied from the 2020 board. I truly believe this is the best advice I have seen on this site. Unfortunately, I believe there are too many kids spending hours playing lacrosse and watching lacrosse film that should really be studying!! There are lots of people out there that have some really messed up priorities. Sad because the kids need to realize there is life after lacrosse and yep it is fun to play and be part of a team, but it is WAY more important to get good grade, be in accelerated classes and do well on SAT/ACT. That is what will get you into a great school.

Those holdbacks sure better be superstars and tromp over the LI teams, including Crush, because we know what your regular on age kids can do. Sad that you need older kids to compete with LIs younger kids.

Forget team wins or loses- the bigger question in my mind is WHY do you need older kids to win? That just might be the most important question for the success of your kid. Maybe looking at the bigger picture will help your kids more than trying to add a win to a website. Does it irritate you that most kids don't have to play younger kids to get recruited?

9-7 over Evolve Elite "2020" - the Canadian team was good and full of 14-15 year old Canadian 8th graders. Solid team.

Freedom 2020 must be good - played Looney's to 6-7.

I saw the Terps had fun beating up weak Florida teams this weekend

Sons 13-5 over Freedom. Yikes! Their 13/14 year olds, well at least the PA teams are. Sometimes they show up and play sometimes they don't.

and the Sons only had 4 mids on a box sized field.

Pretty good. We had a bad weekend, but we were missing a bunch of guys. Madlax 2020 is still one of the best 3 2020 teams in the country.
