Doubt a sons parent is on here. They don't give a hoot, they just want to play against good competition and make their kids better.

Express definitely lost some talent...picking up 91 leftovers is not an upgrade. They are still a very good team and will be able to compete with anyone given their F/O guy. If he goes down, look out below. Big drop off after.

Tough day for Hawks. Down 4 middies and 3 attack with football playoffs and injuries. They will be there when it counts.

Yes some, be honest, but probably not a "bunch" very, very good team.

Not true, they're fine and only getting better, but if anyone's main face-off guy goes down they will have issues

absolutely true, good team, overall above average, no where near Looney's or Crush with respect to talent

Bunch of decent 2020 fogos that can compete with each other on any given day. Express included. None of them are are in the same league as Looneys kid who smokes them all.

They lost to looney's 5-4 at the end of the summer. Be careful, if weather is bad in Florida and flights get delayed, you'll be missing two of your best players looney's dad

So, it the kid from Florida chose to tryout for your club you wouldn't take him?

Can't post kids names here but if you know anything about this team there is at least one and he is a pre-first holdback kid. Been on the team since the beginning...

Why not, because you said so? The kid fills a very important position, and lack competition in his own state. Get used to it many teams already do this and it will become prevalent in the next few years. Unless you are talking a true town team, kids can come from anywhere.

Following the Sweetlax model: Don't bother to develop any players, just grab any top level talent you can and take credit for their ability.

I don't think it matters that he's out of state, but like I said previously, there isn't a team around that can live without their primary face off guy. Last year was first time Looney's beat Express, they definitely have holdbacks that were added last year.

I don't think any club can take "credit" for a kid's talent. First of all they don't even train key positions like F/O and goalie. Those kids need to pay for their own training. Second, many teams here on LI poach talent from other teams shamelessly. Sweetlax puts together talented teams because the kids enjoy playing for them, not because someone forced them to. Some are just sick of LI BS! Everyone wants to take the credit for a superstar. I think you may be confusing "Taking credit" for "the kids plays for my organization"

We have one BL, one Gilman and one Loyola player.
BL boy came to BL in sixth grade..is not a holdback.
Most players are public school, many Carroll County!!
YES, they enjoy beating the preps.

Looney's did add a number of big kids who look older than legit 2020. That's a fact. Shut everyone up by just listing the months of top five oldest players. No names, just month. Simple.

you guys are all nuts. loonies has had a strong team since they started their 2020 team in 4th grade. All of the core players are still with them and each year they have added great kids to the team. They have several private school kids currently and many more are looking at schools so they can play in the MIAA but yes there are a lot of public school kids too. It is a nice mix of kids and parents. They work hard and have fun. Enough Said. Enjoy this time and stop the picking on kids. The best part of last weekend was all of the teams respecting each other and getting along. Now this board reverts to trash talk.

That's for tournaments like vail. The team that's was there this weekend and all the other leagues and tournaments is just the Maryland team

The better Looney's 2020 kids left for the Crabs. The team will likely fold in 1-2 years, like the Looney's did for the sophomore and junior teams.

One area in which Looney's is untouchabel is their cool air misters which I saw them break out at a MD tournament last summer. Looked like a bunch of pampered princes being misted under their tent. Too funny....Street tough they are not, but they can play.

There's no kids on Crabs 2020 that were on Looney's 2020. But you know that. A team has a good showing and the haters come out.
