For the Catholic HS Girl's League, does anyone know the rules regarding a player rostered on varsity playing in a JV game. Specifically, could St. Anthony's have one or more varsity players play in the JV championship game tomorrow against Kellenberg if they have not appeared in other games for JV this season? This is not allowed in Section VIII. Not sure about the Catholic League but I would think that it would be illegal to do.

Great idea let's keep going after Northport team because all the young girls that play there deserve to be ridiculed and clearly do not deserve any praise for a successful season. It is their fault their parents live in the district and they play for a coach you are so jealous of you cannot see straight.PATHETIC.

Nassau - Wednesday, May 23rd Results
Class B : 1. Garden City over 4. Long Beach, 17-5 Class B : 3. Wantagh upsets 2. Manhasset, 17-15
Suffolk - Wednesday, May 23rd Results
Class A : 1. Ward Melville over 5. East Islip, 13-5 Class A : 2. Bay Shore over 6. West Islip, 19-10
Highlights
Ward Melville (1) and Bay Shore (2), the top two seeds in the Suffolk Girls Class A Tournament, have both lived up to expectations and will play next week in the Section XI Championship.
Wantagh (3) eliminates Manhasset (2) in an upset to earn a likely spot against Garden City (1) in the Class B Nassau County finals. An interesting point here is that BOTC cannot remember the last time when Manhasset did not have either a girls or boys team at the county championships. Was this year a passing of the torch?

We played SJB this year. That coach is CRAZY. Not a great representation of the Catholic school system or what youth sports are supposed to be about. SJB JV coach is the same way...they must promote it there.

I was at the game and could not believe the ending. CSH had a 2 goal lead with 3 mins to go. They killed 2 mins of time and looked they had the game in hand and then they passed the ball back into there defensive end. Why? I have no idea. But they did and one of their defenders missed a pass and the ball went out of bounds. North Shore scored on the ensuing possession and then tied it up after the next draw.
Tis was a huge coaching blunder. You kill the ball behind the net. If you lose it the other team has to go 100 yards to score. In this case they gave them the ball and the yardage along with time. Even the college scouts in attendance could not believe they went backwards.
I also could not figure out why they would not shut off the best player in Nassau County - Amanda Johansen. She came in to the game with 90 plus goals and CSH shut her off the first time they played and won. This time they did not shut her off behind the goal. She ended up with 7 goals and 2 assists. AJ is unbelievable to watch. Unfortunately the CSH defense and coaching staff watched her instead of playing her.
