I guess we will see on Saturday. Based on the scrimmage Taz had against Wolfpack recently everyone might be in for a surprise. Good luck to both teams. They both worked their tails off this winter.

I have a lot of time on my hands. I actually think about this stuff 24/7. I check tourney machine all the time and even for tournaments my son isn't in and for older grades. I love this stuff! I try to keep my craziness way from him though and have a rule to never yell during games.

Big gap after TAZ and the Pack, any of the others are not even in the picture.

I think everyone on this board knows that already but teams like Igloo and Avengers are in another class than the dozen or so B teams that signed up. It's all relative buddy.

Also, there is still a big gap between Taz and the Pack. Winning a few loser bracket games in MD doesn't put the Taz in the same class as the Pack.

speaking as a parent of a child on WP i will tell you that comments like this are completely unnecessary. This type of banter only creates hostility on the sideline. For the boys sake keep it classy gentleman.

Agree that this is the big stage for TAZ. If they can step it up that would be exciting. But it is a big step. After that the teams are Average and I guess that's ok. I don't think a breakout is expected there.

So you guess it's okay that 8 and 9 year old's are, as you say average. You realize you sound like a complete tool bag with a comment like that. Also, nobody expects a breakout form Taz either, except maybe a few loco daddy's. Beat the Pack once before you run your yapper.

The kids on both teams are friends and I would say the parents for the most part. Somebody stirring the pot on a Friday of lax fest is what it is.

A few of us went back and forth poking fun at the posters ranking the 8-9 year old teams. Harmless comments, that were (being modest) funny.

Those posts were for some reason removed.

However, the back and forth vitriol between posters about 8-9 year old lacrosse has been allowed to remain--and by extension, encouraging these folks to continue.

What gives? If the sole purpose of this site is to engage in creepy "my-kid-is-better-than-yours" exchanges, please let me know and I will quietly leave.

But before I go, I would like to know......

Wait a second, no one called these kids losers. Average was used. Why is that such a bad word unless you have unrealistic expectations for your boys.

You understand that not every kid on the Pack or the Taz is a star and not every kid on the other teams are average. Your blanket statement was derogatory toward the thousands of 8 and 9 years old kids that love the game and play on many different teams, both town and travel.

TLI strikes again. I watch the 2023 team this past weekend and what a disgrace. They had the old coaches from last yr that knew nothing trying to coach kids from the parents sideline. The new coach that has zero lax iq starts screaming that they don't need help. Anyone that believes what MG tells you, you deserve to be burned. Ten kids quit that team last yr and I doubt TLI will be around much longer. Those parents were lied to from day one. Absolute joke!!!!!its a Mickey Mouse operation!!!!!

They had two 2024 teams at Forsberg and one was pretty good. Made the finals in the A bracket and lost the the Avengers.

TLI also beat the avengers before losing to them in finals. Don't sleep on them.

The parents were fine. Nobody said a word . They even clapped when your goalie made a couple of good saves . You got beat and beat bad. Don't start ripping in and lying about the parents, it shows how weak you really are. The pack is by far a better team than tha Taz and that's just the way it goes. It's a parent like you that makes the situation worse, i'm sure your son has forgotten and is fine with the the game and here you are running your mouth. Sad very sad. All you read on this thread is that how people will be surprised about the outcome of that game. Well… Surprise
