Skywalkers will not be at the ND this weekend, they are at Champions Cup with M&D and TLC.

Barely beat Elevate in the 2021 age group - one goal game. Honestly expected more from YJ in that age group.

Elevate 0-5 and counting against YJ 2021. Game got close towards the end but YJ never trailed. You Elevate folks seem to be happy with close losses..,

Great game today V Elevate - one goal game. Hope we continue to get that sort of competition from other clubs. Look forward to playing them again.

Not really a national anything if the MD teams aren't there. Could have played most of these games on long island

Congratulation to the YJ 2020 Jones team went 4-0 at ND. great game against a tough Elevate team. Too bad they didnt advanceas they lost the tie breaker to TG Black. Continued success next week at Lax For Cure.

Tie breaker?? Yes they won same amount of games but advancement was based on goals against. TG had less goals against and moved on, so not really a tie!

Politics of this age group has the top team no stronger than the second team. Who knows, if the politics continue the second team will be stronger than the first next year.

The better team advanced Curcio v Jones wouldn't have been a game. Curcio whips Jones whenever they play clear A and B teams now.

The clear A team is the Curcio starters. The bench that doesn't play in meaningful games are the B team. Therefore making Jones the C team.

They would beat most A teams except TG and Curcio.

sure it was a tie, 4-0 each team.. and the tie breaker was goals against.. must have been a tg parent who wrote that.. i would be more concerned with your top player standing off the side when you were man up and watched as another player tried to go 1-3 to win the game..

The 2nd team on the 22's is not stronger then the 1st! We only had one coach there
and its very hard to manage that on his own. The Blue team also played everyone!!
Harney did not play everyone and all they did was keep one big girl in that got the ball and ran to goal. You cannot even compare Blue to gold! The Blue girls have awesome stick skills!!

Don't forget Harney's roster is larger than the almighty Blue team. Or what you thought was almighty. Top to bottom Russell is stronger. Top 12 vs Top 12 is pretty close.

Russell team was up 5-0 5 minutes into this thing and on their way to a blow out. Rather then run up the score, their coached played stall ball. Well kudos to the Harney team and their goalie that seized momentum and almost a win. The Harney team played 6 games, with 1 goalie. They played their way into that game and did a great job for the day. Leave it at that.

That is correct Curcio beat TG 3-2 in final, but bench (12 children) did not play a single second. TG subbed I believe everyone including the most talented player in this age group. So Team Curcio goes out and runs teams off the field because team has a lot of depth yet in big games, goes to this modified line team dynamic clearly changes. They go from a very impressive "team" to one or two individuals head down go to goal mentality. We lost and our kids will get over that, but I can tell you this the majority of our team is a lot happier! Go Team Curcio! I mean 1/2 Team Curcio LOL

Let the YJ's enjoy their win, they won, however they got it. Every club, every team, has puts a different emphasis on winning vs. playing everyone and developing the entire roster. There is no secret that Curcio values the win, and there is nothing wrong with that if she feels that is the right thing for her team. It is also clear that Shannon values playing everyone and developing quality because she views things from a College Coach standpoint and wants all her girls to have maximum recruitability. Both woman bring different backgrounds and values to their team. Let the TG girls use this as motivation. They are all competitors and this will further light their fire. Congrats to YJ, on the win, and a year of bragging rights.

While I agree on some points, mostly that the few ball hog superstars of team Curcio seem desperate to score in the big games so play a style of me first and are not corrected by the coaching staff. That being said lets not pretend the success of TG 2020 does not rest completely on 1 player, not even remotely a team effort.

I don't know what game you watched but Topgun played a team game.They played a clean game unlike YJs who received 4 yellow cards.TG also played their whole team not just 12 girls. You may have edged out a victory this time but our "team" is ok with that. Our team thrives on challenge and gets better for it.
That's why they are always successful. Fear the TG!!

You are absolutely correct! more than half the TG Top Team do not belong there, makes us wonder how they even got there in the first place. I also wouldn't say it's only one player though, It's about 2 others other than the best player on that team that put in an effort now way in comparison to the Top player of course. So in all TG Blk has about 3 players,all the others would fit in nicely on purple.
