Who really knows age of these kids. But at HHH tourney and the NLF the Hawks were definitely one of the smaller teams there . Even their bigger players were matched up against kids even bigger. Especially in the final games, Size at this age is different from kid to kid. So yes he has no clue, but does it really matter.
