Two Jersey teams are doing very well at the fl$ tourney this weekend. BBL and Patriot are both in the semifinals today.

Patriot vs Jesters 2017 Black at 1:00
BBL Black vs Primetime 2017 at 1:00

Very impressed with both Jersey teams.

I would move fl$ all the way up to the 5th spot and shift the rest down (no my son is not on fl$). There's no doubt the Turtles are a top team but until they start playing the other teams you have to leave them off the list entirely. Most of the other teams have played each other so you can try and rank them as such.

No offense meant but Outlaws Black and Silver played in a NJ town team tournament and both were not that good. Lost to NJ town teams. Summit, NJ won the tournament. I can't imagine they should be 6th above.

Are you basing these rankings on talent or wins and loses. My sons team has played fl$ twice this year. Their best 7-9 players are as talented as most of the teams that are on your list. Their best can run with anyone. They play everyone equally which definetly results in more losses.

Long Island lacrosse isn't nearly as good as long Islanders think it is.
after the top 3-4 LI Team 2017, there is a sharp talent drop off, then the next 6-10 are just average.

Patriot Lacrosse 2017 beat BBL Black in the finals of the fl$ lax tournament today. Well played game by two very good teams. fl$ tourney was very competitive at the 2017 age group, despite 4 or 5 lower B teams in the tourney. There were 6-7 quality teams at the 2017 A level playing very good lacrosse. Very good tournament overall......

Says who? Long Island Lacrosse is the best in the world hands down. There are very competitive teams throughout the age group. Any of those teams ranked 1-10 of the Long Island 2017 club teams can compete with anyone in the country.

Wake up Joisey boy. There are maybe 3 or 4 good NJ teams. Long Island is tops for talent in 2017. Take a trip to the Brine All-star classic and watch for yourself

Did terps black lose 3 out 5 this weekend? If that is the case, then putting them at #2 is a gross over rating. Unfortunately the results on the field are just not that great.

They have too many losses at this time to be considered anything other than just a solid middle of the pack team.

Ok so here is the reasoning behind the rankings. Jesters lost to fl$ and beat GC. So fl$ is ranked higher then Jesters and GC. Talent is great to have but if you don’t play well as a team you will not win as often or as easily as you should. You don’t have to have the best talent to be the best team. You just have to win. Gladiators have not been playing well as of late and played the Terps close in Maryland. Played fl$ close and lost in the fl$ tournament. Terps Black just played down in Delaware and played some of the toughest competition in the country. They did real well. And know my son is not on the Terps Black team. If you win you move up, if you lose you move down. No excuses!! Just my thoughts on why I ranked them they way they are. Also if someone loses to a team not ranked then you will be removed and that team will take your spot. Very simple.

1. Turtles.
2. Terps black.
3. True Blue
4. Gladiators
5. 91 Orange.
6. Outlaws Black.
7. fl$
8. Jesters Black.
9. Garden City 17
10.Terps.

What I've noticed about Long Island lacrosse is that when our B and C teams play in out of state tournaments they do GREAT. Other states have a few really good teams but after those teams the talent is non existent.

Unfortunately in NJ the Brine National Classic hasn't quite caught up yet to LI in terms of all of the best kids trying out. Many kids didn't even know about it. 5-6 NJ kids on the Brine team going to Jake Reed, but the team will be decent not great. I know most if not all of the best LI 2017s tried out. Not an exclude, just hasn't fully caught on yet in NJ.

True probably for the first 3-4 teams, but definitely not true after that.

What happened to Terps Black at MVP tournament in Delaware? Did they play up? If not, looks like they had a few losses this weekend to teams not named Crabs.

Ok so to me the 6,7,8, and 9 slots are interchangeable. The Jesters beat fl$ two weeks ago in the JDRF but lost to them at fl$ tourney. GC beat fl$ but lost to Jesters. Jesters have played Outlaws twice and tied them twice. Outlaws lost to Summit, NJ town team this weekend. Gladiators beat fl$ this weekend but got killed by BBL. Personally I think True BLue is a better team than Terps Black, but not a big deal. I think it is a fair and accurate list for the most part. Should be a fun summer watching these kids compete at a high level.

According to your logic then the Turtles should not be included since they haven't beaten anyone on the list. You must play to stay. Has Terps Black played True Blue yet?

Disagree completely. Were not talking about winning here, were talking about being competitive and all of those teams listed can compete with just about anyone. If you watch them play youll understand why.

Sure your son is not on the Terps Black... How many teams on this list have beaten the Terps Black? At least 3 of them, so that puts them in 4th place at best.
