Really surprised no LI teams have entered. Was really looking forward to playing some of the best teams in the country. Our 2019 Palm Beach Revolution team best LI express A team 8-2 on Sat and then lost 8-2 on Championship Sunday.

Great question! Maybe the best teams were on the young end? Or maybe they thought crush would be there? Many qualified, should have took the challenge! Good luck to your team.

Are any of the FL kids that played for the LI Jesters on your Revolution team?

Winning on the "young" side of U11 is entirely different than winning on the young side of U13. They don't ALWAYS beat 2019 teams. Mind you, they do win more than they lose, but they do lose. This would spoil their image, going all the way to FL to lose. Time will tell, if they go next year, we know they ducked it this year...

Igloo will easily win u11 today. There are also quite a few long island boys playing for fca and sweetlax who also made it to the championship today

Guys let's say it how it is the u13 bracket is extremely week. 91 orange 19, Crush , express 19, would have had little resistance in this the 2020 terps would of faired well too.

Couldn't agree more- U13 looks weak this year. I guess the teams with older kids can't enter or leave them off the roster, diluting their strength as a team. Just not always worth the time and money to travel. How do you make FCA national teams? Are there try outs or are you invited?

Because this tournament is a complete joke. That's why few top teams (from anywhere) attend it.

Because this tournament is a complete joke. That's why few top teams (from anywhere) attend it. Well you do have to win a qualifying tournament to attend, so there are some very good teams here. There are also some weak teams. To get to the final four the teams are very good for the most part. It is well run and fun, what you want in a tournament. And spending a few days in warm weather doesn't hurt either. And there are several top teams here battling it out today, no joke!

The way they talk, yep! Wouldn't want to tarnish that "we won" U11 as a U10 team image. Why risk it? Easier to say it is a weak field, too much money to travel, etc. we will see. I bet anything, crush will be there next year

Probably isn't any of those teams commenting on this. An interesting note is how none or very very few premier clubs attend. I think they probably ask each other last few years express and 91 attended this year neither. No Crabs , no laxachusetts , Dukes. Just a thought

Just a thought Madlax, SweetLax, Edge, 6 nations, FCA, are all well regarded quality teams. On the younger end igloo, sons have fared well in tournaments as well. If you were here, you would appreciate the competition, especially in the top 8. Great competition!

Local box is the only lacrosse they are playing right now. [lacrosse]'s TOC is a nice rec tourney though.

Most of those teams have half the kids that wouldn't be age eligible. That's why these national teams compete. They compile the best "correct" age kids to play together. Laxachuaettes might not have any eligible in correct bracket.

So if the Crabs can't win every tournament they're entered in, they must suck, I guess. And it's "their", not "there". That Stony Brook education is really paying off.

Laxachuaettes might not have any eligible in correct bracket. Now that is the truth. Any team that cannot come with their whole roster, has kids that were retained by more than just a month or two. Would love to see all the big names next year at a tourney that could disqualify a team for hold backs, show their true colors with age appropriate kids.

Have you ever thought that some families just cannot afford to spend all of that money to take their family to Florida for a lacrosse tournament? Or maybe, just maybe, they have family commitments between Christmas and New Years? There could be a million reasons why a team cannot have every single player in Florida and most of them are not that the kid is too old to play... you people are crazy about this age thing, get a grip

They go to camps. Many kids play for teams where they wouldn't qualify to play at TOC. Some teams/clubs encourage this more than others. There are def clubs and teams that don't go because their stronger team members don't qualify. It's not a secret- it's just a fact.
