If they are looking to make the A conference smaller, may need to move a few teams down to get some stronger competition in B.

Sounds like an issue with Gerstell. Can’t compete in A and too good for B? I’m sure some top players will look to move since they will be in B. They will never be deep enough to be competitive with too 75% of A.

Tom DeMaio is the new girls head coach at St. Mary’s Annapolis after leading Urbana last year. Welcome to the IAAM.

nless he can stop the top girls from AACO going to Spalding he has no chance. STM girl’s lacrosse in no better than the public schools in the area. I guess that’s why they hired a public school coach.

Oh stop.

They wiped up on Broadneck (4a state champs) in a scrimmage earlier in the season.

Obviously they underachieved which is why they replaced the coach, but they have a lot of talent. Spalding will be good again in 2024, and have a top 2025 but I think St. Mary's I think the tide turns in once these soph and freshman are on varsity.

Not sure he has any idea how to recruit to a private school though.

Why is the men’s transfer portal public knowledge and the women’s isn’t? Why wouldn’t IL Women do as the IL does and post it?

Ummm - we've been told over and over on this thread that scrimmages don't count 🤔🤔

You must not be looking very hard... They clearly lay it out.

I have looked hard and the above is not it. Men’s have a full list accessible to the public 24/7. Women’s you have to wait until IL posts an update, and it’s just that, an update. That one is three weeks old and not a complete list of all transfers.

What is the best place to find 2025 commitment list? I can't seem to find one that has up to date. I would imagine some roll in after yesterday.

Is your daughter in the portal? If not, why does it matter?

I have a 24 but this is what we used last year. It is self reported so probably delayed and not always right but don’t know of another

https://www.insidelacrosse.com/recruiting/commitments/girls?class=2025&league=6

Good luck to all the girls this year. Remember that ultimately the girls will find the right home, even if it’s not what they(or you) originally thought

The nasty comment was about how St Mary's can't beat the local public schools. The retort was pointing out it was factual incorrect.

Not really going out on a limb here, but SPSG, McD, and MV will all make the final four. But I'll go with Spalding with the final slot this year.
I see a rematch in the finals with SPSG coming out on top.

Gotta be McDonough or St. Pauls but I think Spalding could be primed for a run.

They only lost an attacker and defender from last years team. Hard to dispute that they are the favorites.

Have any teams made improvements in their overall teams or lost players that may impact their success this season?

Typically, when does the IAAM schedule get released? Is it by school or does the site update at once?

Some schools are already released. You will need to check each schools site.

RBC is broke spread to thin for multiple sports now at STM. New President just don’t get it’s a lacrosse school.
