True makes everything worse.
Crazy to think how far things have fallen since the days of the Cutters. Big business killed a great program. Expect an exodus

Exodus to where. True is way better organized than almost any other program and has really cut into orgs like the hawks. If anything, let’s see if the hawks can sustain what hogan built.

Crazy to think how far things have fallen since the days of the Cutters. Is that where the True team came from? I remember when my son first started playing club in 2nd/3rd grade, USS Cutters was a pretty good team back then.

The above statement is Hilarious! Hawks are 4-0 and True is 0-4. Didn’t this True team loose players to the Hawks?

If anything.. the Hawks have lost 1 game. 1 game…collectively as an entire club in the top division of every HOCO age group. True hasn’t won more than 1 game in any of the top divisions. Losing records in every division, LAST place in several. True is, on paper, a second tier program, with second tier players, and fake news national teams. Most of these teams should be moved down across the HOCO age groups. The parents are there for their own personal social reasons, most of them actively drinking at and during the games. Don’t believe me- watch the solo cups. Just a trash organization all around.

Hawks just beat KP 17-1. Silly statement

True has about 7 nice players that need to move to other programs. Then move everything else down to AAAA

True could easily be 3-1. A few bad breaks in three 1-goal games. Even MadLax game was tight. Worry about your own team. True will be just fine and they will continue to play hard.

They belong in elite bracket more than any of the AAAA teams. Just be thankful that we have 8 teams and there are no byes, like last year.

As someone posted a few days ago— this True team is NOT that bad. They’re all fairly skilled, some good D poles, but just on the smaller side. They belong in Elite before BLC and Kelly Post. They’d win 7-8x out if 10. -Opposing Parent who saw them play

True lost to AAAA blue claws last year and AAAAA KP this year.
That said I think they are probably better than both of them.
The game with BLC is setting up to be a barn burner.

Will the level of dominance continue under a totally different org? True isn’t going anywhere and I think the Hawks are going to slip but very slowly. I would also look for 3step to acquire a few more clubs. I know of one very prominent club talking right now.

Our experience was less than stellar, and it was a give it try day

Bug on the windshield. 4th playoff spot might be up for grabs still. Crabs have run out of games, otherwise I think they’re trending better than FCA.

True seems well coached. They play a controlled style and defense is pretty good. They just don’t have the athletes to compete with the top few teams. Very small. BLC is the opposite. They are big and reasonably athletic, but the coaching seems suspect. They push the pace unnecessarily and turn the ball over way too much. I think True will beat BLC without much trouble. True parent. Whoever posted this was spot on regarding the BLC coaches. One coach gets tossed and another was losing his mind at his players. They made the Madlax coach look calm and reasonable.

Hawks 20- FCA 3. FCA is actually quite terrible. FCA isn’t terrible. Just ask True, Crabs, and KP. They also only lost to Madlax by 3 last week. The Hawks were clicking today unlike any team I’ve seen. They are a complete team from top to bottom and very deep. I think 10 different players might have scored today. FCA has some work to do but will learn from this and be better for it. Move along.

FCA will be fine. Tough day at face off and Hawks converted on possessions with multiple players, makes for a lopsided score. Did Crabs play Madlax tough?

ML beat Crabs. 9 to 5. ML once again struggled at face off (Crab FO is solid and a great athlete beyond the dot) but was able to control the game with their LSMs and active attack. ML defense was solid. Crabs have some large boys at D. One literally towered over ML's somewhat undersized attack squad. Crabs goalie started slow, but came alive in the second half and was very good under some heavy fire.
IMO if ML solves their FOGO issue they will be very hard to beat. If they don't, they will have a long year losing to the top teams.
Not an ML dad, but have friends there and watched the game because my son played earlier and stuck around. fwiw.

Hawks 20- FCA 3. FCA is actually quite terrible. Low spot for FCA. Program as a whole is struggling Non FCA parent here. I believe it's been since about the 11th day of Never that FCA 2028s has beat a full roster at ML, Hawks, or NL. 20-3 is not a great result, but the loss was all but guaranteed and you knew that before the kids even showed up. Was true for last year and will be true next year. That said, Both 2028 FCA teams are fantastic at their respective level. The FCA 2029s are 5-0 in MYLA and 5-0 in HoCo. H This "rough spot for the program" is, I think, a concoction by FCA parents who have trouble with FCA "not being the best of the best." If your ego can't deal with your son's team's performance (#4 in HoCo elite-the best league in the country - and probably a top 25-30 team nationally), you need to evaluate how wrapped up your life is, in middle school lacrosse. This is a very good outcome for your son, and tracks well (statistically) into the future. "Oh they're struggling." Every time I've talked to an FCA Blue or White parent after a close victory, even, I hear, "Wow the program is really down this year." Really? Is it? Even FCA white @ 2028 is maybe a top 50 team nationally and will end up as the #2? team in AAAA HoCo. You want to talk about a struggling program, look at MESA MD who folded, Arden Diamondbacks who have announced they will fold, True DC who was still actively recruiting players in February (!!!!!) or Team 91, whose 5 teams in HoCo will likely surrender 500 points this HoCo season. Love or don't love FCA.......but the brand and the program are just fine lol.

Maybe--just-maybe--it's possible for people to make an observation about a program, either positive or negative, and NOT have a kid playing in that same program. I know it's difficult to imagine, but give it a try, K?

Even FCA white @ 2028 is maybe a top 50 team nationally and will end up as the #2? team in AAAA HoCo. You want to talk about a struggling program, look at MESA MD who folded, Arden Diamondbacks who have announced they will fold, True DC who was still actively recruiting players in February (!!!!!) or Team 91, whose 5 teams in HoCo will likely surrender 500 points this HoCo season. Love or don't love FCA.......but the brand and the program are just fine lol. Ok… FCA parent. I have to say, the "OK [team} dad" posts add absolutely nothing to this or any other forum. Maybe--just-maybe--it's possible for people to make an observation about a program, either positive or negative, and NOT have a kid playing in that same program. I know it's difficult to imagine, but give it a try, K? Response too long, did not read.

Not an ML dad, but have friends there and watched the game because my son played earlier and stuck around. fwiw. Serious question, have any Elite level “contributor” type players ever moved to MadLax 2028? My son is one and I wouldn’t have a problem moving him to any team in the league other than ML if the situation was right. Kids that can really contribute get their choice on where to play, if you had a choice why would you go there? Personally my son would be at NL all day before ML if we were in that area.

I mean it depends where you live and what position, etc. If you have a team where your kid is getting playing time on a team in elite and contributes I’d stay there since there is a big difference in your experience at any of these clubs if you are top 15 or so on the roster and everyone else. Bottom of the roster at any of these clubs is a waste of time since they only play once the games are already determined.
