seriously????? A team on the guys’ side won the MIAA championship three years in a row and were named national championships for two of those years and they only had 2 guys on the UA senior team. St. Paul’s has FOUR girls on the South team this year. They won an IAAM championship for the first time a several years and they have four players picked for sernior game? And you say that is fair and makes sense? And btw, the only other girls selected for senior game were from the Gerstell. That was the extent of the representation from the IAAM this year. Seriously???????

so have you researched where the players who played on the UA team two years ago (because of coach affiliation) are headed for college? Just asking because you seem to discount their ability to play lacrosse. Let’s not foget that all of these girls went through the recruiting process during a dead period yet they were still snatched right off the board by some of the best college programs in the country. So I suppose their coach and the other evaluators know what they’re doing by putting them on the team that WON!

It’s not about wether they are deserving to be on the UA team-but it proves that every year, the majority of the girls that are picked are due to the coach representing the team that year. You can’t deny the proof. None of those Redshirts girls have ever made it before-but yet their Club coach is representing, therefore POOF-they make the team this year.

Maybe because 20 M&D players made the AS 2024 and 2025 teams.

They didn’t even pick the number one recruit from this area the mvp of last years command what a joke . No she is not my daughter just nepotism.

6 of the 7 were ranked by IL in the top 21 players of their class before the season was played. Had nothing to do with winning a championship.

SW has also beaten M&D both times they have played this summer. Including an 11-3 drubbing at LFC.

Or how about….. now that the M&D 23,24,&21 coaches aren’t evaluating more girls are able to make it . Much better than the usual m&d skywalkers back room poker deals

Since sky walkers 2023 team is in the top 6 teams in the country it makes sense a lot of the sky walkers are playing on the MD select team. Actually 1 of the SW 2023's didn't make American Select and made UA Team.

No that’s not what I said. Sure there can be good players at RPCS. But if they were they’d be on Varsity. RPCS varsity was absolutely terrible this year. And these girls weren’t good enough to make Varsity and were on JV. Yet they’re good enough to make the UA team? Something’s fishy

Maybe the head coach at Roland Park screwed up and they should have been on varsity. I mean how much confidence can you have in a coach that takes a team that was in the top 5 in the IAAM when she takes the job and turns it into a complete dumpster fire.

Command team is a joke! How does SW have 8 girls on the roster! Some of those picks are suspect at best! I guess the SW coach got the last word on selections!!

Regardless of where you play, at the tryouts you went in blind and they rocked it.

You all knew the politics involved in these tryouts, and you had your daughters try out anyway!!! It has been talked about for years on here. The fact you are this bent out of shape about how these tryouts turned out is pretty funny stuff.

You do not need to tryout/make these teams to be recruited to top level programs.

Agree. If you don’t like the process, don’t tryout. Stop complaining. My daughter decided to forgo tryouts because she didn’t like the politics. You have the option. Either tryout and be okay with the results, or don’t tryout. But don’t complain if you don’t like the results.

I was not a believer in the AS, until I saw the Highlight roster. I believe that AS has the backing of the college coaching association, and coaches will be present at the AS games, and not so present at the UA games. AS is the way to go, but they too have to fix some issues.

If we use your logic, then how many games did the Redshirts win at the G8? The answer is Zero, because only the top teams are invited. So how did three Redshirt players make the Highlight roster? The answer is, DK is a coach. Very simple math

G8 is a joke now. Let me undeserving teams in and YJ 22s can’t even show up for tournaments anymore.

A joke? That statement says more about the Redshirts program. They can’t get an invitation from the G8. Stop with the D1 recruit statement. Those Redshirt D1 commits were recruited based off of a highlight video….same as many recruits from other clubs. Once on campus they will get a bunch of bench time. That’s why they are at Redshirts. Not good enough to get on a real program.

YJ has been decimated by injury, so stop with the attack. As far as the G8, and I think that I am reading this correctly , you are saying that the the Redshirts are so bad that they can’t even get an invite from the “joke” G8. Thanks for the clarification.

With Long Island having 2 teams for each age group for AS, I would say they have a lot of issues to fix. 83 Yellow Jackets represented on those teams. CR basically moved her club to the AS. That's a lot of $$

I do agree that it is really expensive and one of the issues that I implied, but the IWCLA is a big supporter of the AS. That is why there will be a ton of coaches at this years AS games and going forward. I just think that the dispute between the IWCLA and CSE is overwhelming, but the IWCLA will continue its AS support. Just my opinion.

Redshirts girls who made the team are not as good as some of the girls who got cut. There’s no comparison. The girls who got cut also happen to have left the Redshirts program a few years ago. Coincidence? I don’t think so.

The biggest joke is the UA underclass selection process. Do yourself a favor and do a little research. DK selected three Redshirts. The other two coaches have long ties to Anne Arundel County clubs and high schools, and one has a tie to Roland Park. Now look at the UA Highlight roster. See any correlations? You will find it interesting and validates what most are saying. This is the reason why the UA will continue to slide in talent.

Can we stop already. UA is a joke, not because some of the girls on the team are not deserving, but it's how they get on the team that makes it a joke. Everyone knows it, that's why there is a drastic drop in tryout numbers. That's why AS has been created. That's why Corrigan himself is tweeting about AS - he is threatened. Can we move on already?
