Yes. The B team is playing at McDonogh on Sunday. But I'm sure the parents of the teams they are playing will be on here pounding their chests if their little pride and joy beats DCE.

Good try loser. The top DCE team is playing and yes they have a bunch of injuries so don't sell out the kids on the B team.

Loser? You are completely wrong. My son is on the A team. Not selling out anyone. We aren't playing at McD on Sunday.

The top team is at McDonogh, the other is at the playday.

This is correct. As I said, the B team is at McD. Not sure why you idiots that don't know what you are talking about are chiming in and calling me a loser. My son's on the damn team. I know where he is playing Sunday

This will be a good lesson for the B team who some have said could be another A team.

Why isn't the DC Express at a tournament and choose to be at a play date? Can't those be set up any time? Just saying...

McDonogh is a play day as well. No playoffs. D.C. Express A will be there playing Edge, 91 MD and Rough Riders. The B team will be at the other playday with the various Hawks teams.

Edge, FCA and Madlax all 3-0 today at McD. 9d1 and Crabs beatdown by Madlax and FCA. Crabs way too talented to play such bad lacrosse. But it’s been that way for years with this team. 9d1 lost a lot of talent.

Don’t worry about the Crabs, they have a coaching staff with a winning pedigree. RM will find the keepers and weed out the rest. He has a good eye for talent and can motivate underachieving boys to exceed their expectations by pushing them out of their comfort zone in practice.

I can’t tell if this is serious or not but RM has no more clue how to coach and teach lacrosse than I know how to fly.

Edge was a 2021 team. FCA played nobody. Madlax same thing played nobody. MD91 has lost a lot. RR looked banged up more players not dress than dress to play. API shocker not playing a zone. West coast stars over matched. Over all some good fall lacrosse in bad conditions.

Crabs looked good. FCA has greatly improved. MadLax looks better and handled 91, but 91 has a lot of talent and played short-handed. RR had half a dozen kids in street clothes and crutches and struggled with API. API played well and look to be improved as well. Wouldn't put too much stock in these games, but what is clear is that on any given day, any of these teams can steal a win.

Most of the Edge kids are in 9th grade. Everyone knows how that works. Using the Post Grad year to say they are 2022's. They should change the divisions to 8th grade, 7th grade, etc instead of 2022, 2023, etc. That would keep them from being able to do that.

Crabs looked good against Looneys and DCE "B" team? I would hope so. When they played another A team they got killed. It's been 4 years now and nothing has changed. No clue how to run an offense that can get good looks. If their big middies can't fire one in from 15 yards out they can't score against good defenses. I'm sure RM will yell at them enough that something will change. The problem is, RM has no idea how to actually coach and teach an offense that isn't simply taking your big holdbacks and driving the alley to shoot. But hey, they're Crabs. Wearing that jersey is all you need. Actually learning to play lacrosse is secondary. And if your son can't cut it, RM will bring someone in who can to replace him since he has no idea how to make your son a better player.

Richmond Hawks looked very good this fall. Going to be a tough opponent for any team.
Annapolis Hawks look very good again(most likely best team there even though lost too DCE- Beat DCE 2 weeks ago easily)
DCE is going to be very tough to beat too. A lot of strength and speed all over the field.. Beat Hawks yesterday but lost to LI Express and Richmond Hawks
LI Express like always is very good and well coached. They got a real test yesterday and get credit for coming down to MD.
These teams got better yesterday and will all be a real force in any league or tourney this year.

The reason the teams have improved is that they should improve as they get older and receive good coaching. Crabs on the other hand looks the same as they did 4 years ago.....

Regarding the Crabs lack of improvement, is this a coaching or personnel issue or do both have a role in the program's decline?

This Crabs team has some good players, the problem is that RM is not a good coach or teacher of lacrosse. He has shown this repeatedly over the years. When he had the 2020 team, his weak coaching cost that team several victories by making bad decisions throughout the game, The same is happening with this team. He and the program would be better served if the coaching of this and future teams were given over to people who can coach and teach/grow kids in lax IQ. RM does a good job of setting up great tournaments and this is where his focus should be and not on coaching. Also these kids do not need a coach who yells at them and belittles them during games and even during practice..

Crab's 2022 is a completely rebooted team and 85% of the kids have never played with each other before. It's going to take some time before they are firing on all 8 cylinders. The real proving ground will start come spring in HoCo and of course the summer. Save the trash talk and judgements until then.

I am calling BS on that as well. They might be 03 but their birth dates are January, February and March. Their entire team was almost a foot bigger than all the other teams and had about 20 pounds on them. Good team but play in the right age groups. When you say you are going to PG so you play down already that is circumventing the rules.
Beside that team most everyone else looked OK for fall. Should be a great spring. When it really counts.

There's a very small number of boys that have been on the team the whole time. The Crabs model is broken. They no longer have the holdback advantage as all the teams have them now. Difference is Hawks, FCA, etc have coaches that know how to teach the game and the kids improve and learn to play together as a team. Watch any Crabs team play. They run the same offense that is reliant on isolation. 5 kids stand around and watch one of the big kids try to force his way to the goal. RM can't adapt because his coaching experience prior to starting crabs was coaching Rec lacrosse. Meanwhile you have guys like Brian Reese, Mark Millon, Brian Kelly, etc also coaching 2022 teams. Maybe if the boys were training to compete in the Coney Island Hot Dog eating competition RM would be the right choice. If you want your son to learn to play lacrosse, you may want to choose one of the guys that know how to do that.

It's not just a 2022 problem is the point. All the Crabs teams are struggling because the coaching is subpar. Look at the coaching resumes on Crabs website compared to that of the other top clubs. They are all glorified MYLA coaches. I know they've gotten the MIAA coaches involved. Saw Farrell on the 2022 sideline yesterday. Maybe this will help, but not sure how much time those guys have to put into turning this around. You're right. HoCo will tell the story. But don't be surprised when that story is ugly for Crabs just like last year. Are the Texas and Cali kids flying in for HoCo games?

Why do you think they had to reboot? And where did these kids come from? They have the same 6 or 7 really good kids they've always had. They've lost a lot of talent to Hawks, DC Express, and FCA over the last couple years. The replacements have come from Lax World, FCA White and other B teams. Not a good recipe for success
