RIP OFF for 12 year olds. Anyone that signs their kid up is the same person who puts their kid on an Express team with 30 kids. Chase the fake dream.

Don't understand someone paying $435 at this age for scrimmages that coaches are not even going to look at because they can't talk to the kid for another 4-5 years.

Please don't go. By far one of the best experiences I took any of my sons to.

Call it what you want and tell them not to go if you want but they are right. We as parents need to stop chasing the dream. The coaches will work with these boys but there is no way they are looking at them at this age. I am sure you're loaded and I would never tell you what to do with your money but i would prefer to take that and drop it on good seats to a ballgame for me and my son to hang out.

I think everyone is forgetting what this is supposed to be used for. It seems everyone here should be professionals by now. Why is this turning into who has a bigger stick. Just let them play and learn. Just because you can afford to play at a higher level doesn't make your kid better. Take it from someone who spent 1000's on his kids for this crap. If your kid is good he will be good. No need to go off on the other dads. Use this for what it was designed not a pissing contest. Some people actually come here to find out stuff,

It is a great experience but more suitable for 2019-2021 and not for 2023. Kids are just too young to worry about catching the eye of a college coach for recruiting purposes.

Recon is having supplemental tryouts. Anyone know which team they are trying to fill?

Looks like the younger groups from 2022 kids and down, including 2023 team. From the past post, 2023 team lost a few people to TB. Not good at all, most good players are already committed to a program this late.

Why is it not good at all. I don't think they ever came on here saying they are trying to get to the WS or anything like that. Maybe a kid decided to play after all and would fit right in with the team. Please stop it people they are in 7th grade.

In most cases parents do whats best for their family, it's not one size fits ALL. I consider us fortunate here on Long Island, there are many programs/options to select from.

i think he was more saying that if they are looking for kids to fill out rosters now, there's probably not much to choose from-quality and quantity. 2023 they are still trying to do 2 teams, not sure which one or both has # issues. the other years they have just one team i think. fact is there are a lot of clubs out there to choose from.

2023 outlaws select are looking for a FOGO

Anyone else find it disturbing that teams below the MS or HS level actually have FOGOs?

They are looking for a lot of Midfielders to replace all who left.

Not really. The term is used loosely for a faceoff midfielder. Most teams with minimal exceptions have the faceoff midfielder play on a particular line. If the team only has one "FOGO" that player may actually face off and get off for the other midfield lines.
