Laxachusetts called down 2019 players to play against 14 and 15 year olds...Express north has two holdbacks and has several 14 year olds and the rest are 15...This age now has great parity why not enjoy some great lacrosse instead of making up sad lies...was your wife yelling at you again and you realize your weak gene pool is hurting your kid as other kids get bigger faster stronger and smarter?????

Wow, that final at Main event is ridiculous!! Crabs play Crush in the semis?!?! Didn't sweet lax beat laxachusetts so why are they in the semis?!?! Gotta do better than that when you're bringing that much talent to the island. Big 4 next weekend will be a blast. Good luck to all the teams.

Dude, you're a '20 parent, not new to this. Never expect a schedule for any tournament till Wednesday.

LIEN 2020AA: 2 reclassed athletes-- mostly 15 yr olds and some later year 14 yr olds on the team as wll. They held their own against Crush - up at the half with an 11-9 final. They were bounced out of the playoff round after their last game. Stick with the facts.

This all gets really messy and inconvenient now with the boys in high school. Specifically final exams, regents, etc. are a real issue in New [lacrosse]. Under Armour tryouts are smack dab in the middle of it as are NLF and Big 4 and others. Coaches talk a good game about "hitting the books" so then why jam in so much at a time when they should be studying? That is rhetorical we know the answer. Carry on.

Agreed. Summer clubs have completely encroached on the HS season and school year.

Why does Tourney Machine have the final of Leading Edge vs 91 Crush at 1-0 game instead of actual score mentioned above?

Crabs are built on the holdback scheme. Big kids - playing little kids. 17 year old 9th grader on the team. Sham.

Tourney Machine is all out of whack. Other tournaments also had wrong teams playing each other in the brackets, wrong teams advancing, etc. Total mess if you are not at the actual tournament.

No- the LIEN team playing in Laxfest is the A (second) team; the team that played at NLF this weekend was the AA (top) team. . . .

Saw some photos of crush.. they had some big boys.. don't have them last summer few extra holdbacks added.. worries the reign may be over

At this point, it's the same group always vying for the top ten. This weekend at Big 4 will be another good tournament and will give more visibility into the top five (though the first five might give the 2-6 above....sorry, don't think this weekend's results are indicative of overall talent, esp. in the crush bracket). Again, I think the Holy Grail is to beat crush. . .think they would like the challenge (save one very chirpy youngun'. . .groan). Who's Big 4 Bound??

Stayed to watch the 2020 Nassau Suffolk tryouts last night. There is a ton of talent coming up for Long Island. Suffolk had skills but Nassau had speed. Nassau middies can fly. They played faster than the 2019s! Should be fun to watch those games. Also could not believe the amount college coaches on sidelines. Good luck boys!

What a dumb set up.. you only play two games Saturday and are pretty much done by 1pm why not play 3 games Saturday like a usual tournament.

Actually, I think the set up is awesome! On a super hot weekend, like last weekend, 2 games per day is really perfect. When you get to the 3rd game in the heat, let's face it, no one is playing their best.

So Sunday to play a final you have 3.... your comment doesn't make ssnse 3 Saturday would be perfect then 2 Sunday so you get the best then

This age group feels different than years past Teams are more individually based. With everything going on with these boys practice is rare Has actually made it more enjoyable.

Every tryout is rigged to some degree. Its just a matter or which org or high school coach is running which event. Don't be naive.
