Express A or B should not be going down to MD for this tournament. They are no where near the skill level of these other teams. Coach is making a big mistake. Why would they even think they can compete? 4 hour drive to get pummeled? Parents questioning coaches judgment when it comes to tournaments going forward? They are going to get spun into the ground. Just a bad call all around. Wake up

It's "O'Reilly" and he has THREE aasiatants. As far as MD. It's better to play better teams and lose and learn good lacrosse than play and win by a ton at this age. You learn a lot. I'm not saying to do this all season because no child wants to lose all the time but they are happy to be playing some good talent.

Does anyone here realize that there is no way to gauge how good any team is this year. Last year's 3rd graders are not the same players as they are now as 4th graders. They all are getting better. Passing, catching and shooting is a night and day difference. Just because certain club teams have a rep as being top dogs doesn't mean anything until they all play against each other.
Who is the best true Long Island town team at this level? That team will eventually be the best high school team.
Best Nassau town team ?
Best Suffolk town team?

I hear all of O'Toole's assistants are great and really dedicated. They and the kids are ready to take on the world!

The kids are great, the parents are better than great, and the coaches, well I don't even have words!

If you ever talk with the kids or parents from that team you will hear mostly positive feedback. Maybe your jealous? They don't have a record like WP but they sure love the sport and have a great time out there learning the right way. These are the kids that won't be burnt and hate the sport by the time they get to High School. Watch.

we all know the truths....WP the strongest, the strictest, Taz up next.....OReilly is good coach and kids/parents love that team, IGloo most expensive & nicest gear, schwalje never around, blah blah blah......when its all said and done, as long the kids are having fun, learning, and growing who cares at this point. Enjoy the ride it only gets more intense

Taz has keenan who is not a dad (but 4 or 5 dad assistants), WP is all daddy ball, (esp the pequa assistant), igloo is a daddy disaster.

Don't know anyone who doesn't respect them and give them their due as the best 2024 team on Long Island. Can't really argue with their success

i am not sure what your point is? Is it that teams staffed with "daddy coaches" as you put it practice more, get to spend more time with their children, or are more invested in the success of the team?

"Pequa" dad and son are no longer with WP and are now with TAZ. So if you didn't know that ten you are not with either team.

Agree. The one thing that stands out with this team is their work ethic and the coaches commitments to these boys.

They are the best until someone beats them and Taz is second on LI until someone beside WP beats them. Honest the haters should stop.

That coach always favors his local kids. Not bad if you are one of them. Also helps the Express Catholic connection.

Get your facts straight. They have a bunch of new kids and by no means does the coach favor the local kids. You are completely wrong. He likes to get new kids involved. There are kids from the city, Nassau and Suffolk county on the team. Don't post if you don't know what you are talking about.

RVC team and Pequa are good in Nassau.
In Suffolk the Commack/WP team is good.

Who asked about tone teams? It's clearly a Rvc person positing about Express and has no clue what they are talking about.
