I know we all want to look at the world with those rose colored glasses but sports is tough. Sports used to be a conduit for life. It helps you over come adversity. It helps you learn how to deal with many different people & personalities.

I understand Coaches say, teammates say, even parents say tough things. We may not like it but I was always taught there was a time and place for everything. Just as I am a proponent of "hey, your kid is great at my house you really taught them manners." Funny you hear as a response 8 of 10 times , "that isn't the case in my house." Well they did listened and followed through at the right times. They applied the lessons learned!

I have absolutely no connection to the situation but see way to much coddling. When did it become a soft world. You got called out, okay; you got called a name, sucks, yeah sure. But Move on! It is not how you fall but how you get up!!! So get the up.

I thought LI lax was like Texas football or Texas cheerleading I guess not. I am not really an ends justify the means person but if all a coach did was call the girls some names and pointed out a few players. Don't see the big deal.

Oh and for those that say they are girls, I say why treat girls any different than boys. Just because you called them a name doesn't mean you don't respect and like/love them. I am quite sure we have all called our parents, family members and close friends bad names. doesn't mean we didn't love and care for them.

Hey I have a few nieces and nephews I called "little [lacrosse].. plenty of times and deservingly so. But I love them dearly and would do anything for them.

Has anyone looked into the AD's past with LIU Post? There is a reason he does not want conflict.

I was told by a friend that has kids on the ESM program that the coach singled out a couple of girls after a loss and called the girls pu$$se$ . If it is true and she called my daughter that I wouldn't be on here talking about it I would be in the AD office with the coach and my daughter getting to the bottom of it.

so thwas incidents aren't from this season?

As an outsider reading this the only conclusion is that they played like a team, believed in themselves, believed in their teammates & believed in their coaches and won the Long Island Championship because of it. No parent complaining was going to stop them from doing it. Teams and leaders win now go bring home the title. Good luck.

The ESM coach played the same kids that are her pets ALL GAME LONG same as the rest of the season, screamed at them on the field same as the rest of the season and beat a WANTAGH team that didn't play nearly as well as they should have.
Easy as that.

At the expense of the other 13 kids on the team. Winning at any expense...your right that morons like you think that's what it's about. Read the posts you idiot. You just don't get it and never will.

Wake up and watch the other games coaches play the game to win and there are not many subs in most of the tight games you moron. Unless your at practice everyday working with the kids day in a and day out how would you ever know why she plays the kids she plays? She won a championship idiot, now go and cheer for your kids or just go to a corner and stew while your yes your child's team wins a state championship and you just drove 289 miles to be bitter. Three days to States and this is how you act pretty sad. I wish it was just some sh** h**d trying g to stir the pot but your hatred seems to be sincere. Good luck ESM

wow two and three years ago huh? and most of those girls are in college and as the coach wins a LI championship that's when parents from two and three years ago want her fired? WOW
