My youngest is a 24. I can tell you the whole reason AS came in to existence is because AA was so political. It always had the same evaluators, same club and school coaches, same old club bullcrap. American select came along and offered non coach evaluators. It's not a perfect system but AA has always been political
Not a good example. The 24 class is loaded and they made the team every year except the year they all went to AS. Dont remember any dads coaching a team that puts his daughter and friends on it even thought they are average. AA has really fallen off the past couple years but AS has to do better with the evaluators.
