Parents are more interested in A, AA, or B than the kids. No one I know talks about their 6th grade record as an adult. Even Al Bundy was a joke because he talked about his HS achievements. These kids should be getting better and having fun. If your son is happy, he is learning about the game, improving and working hard what more do you want? These parents who are so concerned that another team is confident or thinks they are good enough to be competitive with the big boys are losers. they are trying to protect some weak image they have of themselves and their child's worth.
In the end, if the Outlaws are not as good as someone says they are, Your team will beat them. Congratulations. If they compete, good for both of you. It was a good game and someone won. Isnt that better than a 10 point spread?
How does it affect you if another team is crazy enough to think they belong in the top team discussion? It doesn't.
