Yes a top team on LI. If you consider the better out of state teams they are way out of the mix. Here is my list in order based on recent results I know of.

Ok. Beat Mesa Fresh last week at NXT. Beat fl$ last two times played them. Went further in Laxfest than NH, hawks and bbl. Lost to BBL by one or two. Not in same league as Extreme although played one close game this year.

Extreme, fl$, FCA Blue all in fl$ in 3D starting tomorrow. Some of those 3D teams are very good as well.

Yes I have heard that 3D New England and 3D Colorado are very good. I just Have not seen them play. I have seen all teams in my ranking play in various tournaments except for Crabs.

Not from TLI but there is no way fl$,Patriots etc... are better than them!!

Tomahawks in Laxfest were in same division as Extreme so were knocked out earlier than you. Which Mesa Fresh believe you played their B team they have multiple teams also BBL Black is their A Team and they have multiple teams. Extreme Beat Annapolis Hawks in Semi I think 8 to 4. That should have been finals not the spanking that was the finals. Annapolis beat Extreme earlier in the year at a tournament. Your bracket at Lax fest was the easiest. Wolverines are bad this year, That Superstars Team stunk. Only decent team was 91 Orange and you handled them easily. Your good but not in the elite team running yet. Have improved over the last 2 years.

Team LI is 2018 so it really doesn't matter. Put 5 9th graders on any of these teams and they will be much better!

There were 2 2017's when u played them. Both kids r probably younger than your oldest kid. BTW that TLI team has beaten your 2017 team every time they played them.

FYI Bucks select has 6 2017's on it!

You can not put team long island on that list they have rising 10th graders on team they should not be playing down.
Oh yeah that list all the teams are older.
We need to go to age based like all other sports

I don't care about 2017 team. Why do you want to play 8th graders with HS kids. And they aren't younger than out kids. All age appropriate. Every single one. You can justify why you break the rules. It's 2018. End of story. Go play u15!

Just to clear up something, this FCA team is from Maryland, they have 2017 and U-15 team which consists of the same kids, so i'd have to say that they are a few years older than even the non true 2018 boys. I guess it's OK to play down to win a tournament.

After closer review... I see that they list on the FCA website that the U-13 team played at Philly, yet, the boys listed in the article that was written up, also play on the 2017 team, Interesting?!

So I guess we established that all the top teams are a lot older.

A club out of DC called Blackwolf put together a 2018 team to play in UPLAX and went 5-1 only losing to Edge 2017 (Canada) 10-3, who has beaten just about every 2017 team. They beat Building Blocks 2017, T2 2017, NJ Thunder 2017, United Albany 2017, and Flyers 2017 all by a big score differential... Quickly starting to pull kids in from Madlax, and VLC.

Ha Ha , 91 is Lucky we lost a few of our top players to injuries or you would of schooled like you did two weeks ago.

I am a dad on FCA team and have to say 91 Extreme is by far the best team we have played in the 2018 age group by far. Great team, great group of parents.

I'm a dad on FCA. 91 extreme is by far the top 2018 team we have faced. Very impressive squad. Pleasure to watch them play. Strong in every part of the game. Face off kid, big defenseman, and smaller attack man/ midfielder are all very dominant. Kudos to the team. A pleasure to compete against

Excuses, excuses. Every team suffers injuries and loss of kids for one thing or another. I am sure you will play again and your game will speak for itself/ but putting it out here on BOTC just sounds like you are being a sore loser. Enjoy the summer.

How many people have received their invites from Philly Freshman Showcase. Are they all out yet or are they still sending them out? What hotels to stay in?

Never got one for my son. But not surprised because if your team isn't playing on Sunday, which we are not, I doubt you would get an A list invite.

I'm pretty sure Philly Freshman Showcase is only for holdbacks

I emailed them and they said they do not notify you if you are not invited. They just update the website.

first couple of batches are out today, I do not think this is the end just waiting to see reply's would be my guess - I know someone who got an invite this morning and someone else that got one this afternoon

It doesn't work like that. I was told they just update the website when it's full. They had 12 teams last year.

12 teams of 20 ea. is 240 kids, do they send out 600 invitations and as soon as a position fills up they start a wait list or do they send out 240 and give them a few days to register and then the next batch? it would suck if you were one of the original 240 kids selected and you were on vacation and missed out because you didn't see the e-mail. I would hope that they send them to 240 kids and give them time to except before the next batch is sent out

How does a kid get invited?

you apply on their web site, you then send links to your school and club coach to make recommendations from the site, I think you can also upload a video

Is it too late to apply/get recommended?
