This weekend, July 1st-July 3rd, is the All American Lacrosse Tournament at Towson University in Baltimore, Maryland.
Results from Friday, July 1st at Towson University are now posted as official with the Long Island Boys taking a two goal win and the Long Island girls dealing a fourteen goal blowout victory in the opening round.
Each team plays four games in their respective pool. The top two team from each pool will advance to the playoffs. The winner from Pool A will play the 2nd place team from Pool B and vice versa.

Evening Update After July 2nd - DC hands Long Island Girls a substantial defeat at 14-7. A win against Midwest puts the Long Island ladies side through to the playoffs. Meanwhile, the Long Island Boys clear the day undefeated with a key match against Philadelphia on Sunday, July 3rd.

Long Island Girls won their fourth and final group play match, 14-7, to make the playoff field. Long Island Boys swept their group play with a 10-9 fourth game win over Philadelphia. New Jersey Boys finished group play on Saturday with an overall 3-1 record losing only to West on day one.

The girls from Washington DC played exceptionally well in the final match and should be congratulated. Long Island had to play down three girls for most of the second half as a result of numerous (questionable) yellow cards.

LI Girls have never won Under Armour. Remove the politics and put the best players from LI on the field. They should get a local college coach to pick and coach the team.
