You are correct - there was a mistake in our time slots which has since been corrected. The game times were correctly reflected in the master schedule that was available at this link.

Current score is 14-4 in the fourth quarter. On the other half of the bracket, Irondequoit is up 6-3 at the end of their third quarter. The biggest surprise is not that Long Island will sweep their semifinal matches - the fact that Section III might well not be represented in the finals of any class this year would be the biggest upset of the season.

Garden City easily handles Yorktown to move to the Class B Championship possibly against Irondequoit that is currently leading Jamesville-DeWitt.

Garden City is leading 7-4 with 8:00 remaining in the fourth quarter. Controversy at the game as crowd has the impression that the Irondequoit coach "high-fived" one of his players for a tough hit on Justin Guterding by George Jerman of Irondequoit. This was just about the end of the third quarter with the score at 4-3. Served as a wake-up call for Garden City's entire team.

Funny thing, I thought about this post at some point during WI's tear through the playoffs. Sour grapes. It's the system and culture over there that has them winning.

The Flyers reached No. 1 in the FAB 50 during the season and posted six wins over teams in the rankings. Ten seniors are heading to Division I programs, which could impact the Flyers next season. The semifinal win over Fairport avenged Ithaca's only regular season loss and handed Fairport its first loss of the year. Ithaca's season ended with a 12-7 loss to West Islip. The Patriots posted one win over a FAB 50 team this season, but its losses were to West Islip (twice), Garden City and Smithtown West. Melville avenged its regular season loss to Smithtown West by ousting them from the county playoffs, which should keep them ahead of the Bulls in the rankings. 17 (19)La Salle
Wyndmoor, PA
18-5272Season Complete: La Salle was a consistent performer in 2012. The PIAA runner-up posted one win over a FAB 50 team this season. Conestoga proved to be the thorn in the Explorers side after dropping two games to the Pioneers this season by a combined four goals. However, 2013 could be their year as Casey Eidenshink (Lehigh) is the lone senior heading to a Division I program. The junior class boasts two Warrior 40 selections in Sean Coleman and Matt Rambo (Maryland). Juniors Stefan Bergman (Michigan) and Jeff Cimbalista (Yale) also return next season. Expect La Salle to be in the running for a Top 15 spot to start the FAB 50 next year.
18 (16)Niskayuna
Niskayuna, NY
20-2263Season Complete: It was a tough end to a successful season for the Warriors -- a 9-6 loss to West Islip in the Class A semifinal. The Warriors defeated Jamesville-DeWitt in April to put the team on FAB 50 voters map early and they remained in the Top 25 since Week 4. The offense averaged 17.5 goals per game while the defense allowed just five on average. Seniors Matt Sexton (Penn State), Tanner MacIvoer will graduate, but the junior class could be even better in 2013. North Carolina commit Luke Goldstock set the single-season school record for points after totaling more than 100 points this season. Junior Lucas Maloney returns at attack along with goalie Evan Quinn.
19 (17)Jamesville Dewitt
Dewitt, NY
16-4258Season Complete: Jamesville-DeWitt's season ended with an 8-5 loss to Irondequoit in the Class B semifinals. Senior McLaren Brady led the team with two goals in the loss. The season started slower than usual for DeWitt, as their 46-game winning streak ended with a loss to Niskayuna on April 7 followed by a loss to Duxbury on April 14. But the Red Rams won nine of their final 10 games and never allowed more than eight goals in any of those games. The team will need to replace senior Deke Burns (56 goals, 36 assists), but the Red Rams' youth in 2012 will turn into experience in 2013. Warrior 40 selection and junior Jordan Evans (39 goals, 32 assists) will return along with Griffin Fiener (47 goals) and Jeff Edwards (19 assists, 17 goals.). The defense, which has been a staple at Jamesville-DeWitt, should be strong with the return of defender Scott Firman and goalie Joe Shapiro (113 saves).

21 (22)Darien
Darien, CT
19-2243Season Complete: The Blue Wave capped a 20-2 season by defeating New Canaan 11-5 in the Class M championship game. Darien won two games over FAB 50 competition this season. Star attacker Case Matheis along with Henry West will both move on to Division I college programs, which leaves two large holes to fill in 2013. The Blue Wave never falls too far out of the Top 25 to start a season so they should be able to reload for another run next year.
22 (20)Episcopal Academy
Newtown Square, PA
18-5231Season Complete: The Churchmen rebounded from a six win season in 2011 by winning 18 games and the Inter-Ac Invitational championship in 2012. Episcopal Academy defeated Haverford School 15-11 in the championship game, posting its first win over the Fords since 2009. Three Division I-bound seniors graduate from a team that posted three wins over teams ranked in the FAB 50, but the Churchmen have a talented junior class with defenders Dante Addona (St. John's) and Kevin Gayhardt (Pennsylvania) along with midfielder Ian Strain (Lehigh) all returning.
23 (21)West Genesee Senior
Camillus, NY
17-2224Season Complete: It was quite a season for the Wildcats. Coach Mike Messere became the all-time leader in wins and finished 2012 with 757 career victories. The defense allowed teams to scored more than seven goals only twice this season and recorded two shutouts. Seniors Tim Barber (48 goals, 30 assists) and Matt Schattner (30 goals, 19 assists) both graduate, but three of the team's Top 5 scorers will return in 2013. Juniors Teddy Glesener (24 goals, 10 assists), Ryan St. Croix (23 goals, three assists) and Dan Ginestro (21 goals, 15 assists) will be back to lead the Wildcats next season.
24 (23)Liverpool
Liverpool, NY
18-2219Season Complete: It was a tough way to end the season, falling 18-8 to Ithaca in the state quarterfinal meeting. Senior Nick Kline and Thomas Logan each scored three goals in the loss while junior goalie Dominick Madonna recorded eight saves. It was only the second time this season the Warriors had allowed double-digits in goals, but both occurrences resulted in losses. Liverpool will be hit hard by graduation with six of its leading scorers all moving on. The Warriors will look to build around junior Jamie Kuppel who totaled 25 points on 13 goals and 12 assists in addition to starting junior goalie Madonna who recorded 212 saves this season.
25 (25)Boys Latin
Baltimore, MD
13-7206Season Complete: The Lakers finished the season as MIAA A Conference semifinalists after losing to Calvert Hall 11-10. Fourteen players from the 2013 and 2014 graduating classes are already committed to Division I programs, including attacker Shack Stanwick (Johns Hopkins).
